If you still think of Buick as a brand for octogenarians with a taste for whitewall tires and vinyl roof treatments, it's time for a reboot. The Regal is a thoroughly developed and satisfying midsized sports sedan. That European feel is no coincidence, since the Regal is based on a German design from GM’s Opel division.

Overall Owner Satisfaction

Consumer Reports’ Annual Owner Satisfaction Survey can improve the chances of finding a compatible car match. How? Our survey data reveals whether, all things considered, owners would buy the same car again. The answer to that question is what determines our owner-satisfaction rating, which is a powerful piece of intel because it predicts how well a particular model will satisfy other owners.

“Easy to drive. Excellent pick up at speed.”

JUDITH S., CA (2015 Buick Regal)

“Being a TUBO engine If you step on it it's like taking off in an airplane. Lot's of power however I don't abuse it . If I not happy with the handling {I haven't figured it out yet but I supposedly can change it) I'm happy where it is at.”

“ALL OF THE ABOVE ARE WONDERFUL I just paid to much for it even tho I HAD YOUR GUIDE TO GO BY.tHE PRICE SHOULD HAVE STARTED AT $30000 AT THAT TIME BECAUSE I WANTED THE CAR I PAID OVER $34000 FOR IT. They didn't honor the paper from you folks for the premuin 1 I kept telling them my name was JIM. On all the paper work They kept putting JAMES even on the TITLE. I will never buy from them again”

JIM B., AZ (2015 Buick Regal)

“Seats little uncomfortable. Difficult for me ( I'm 6'4 and weigh 215 to find a comfortable sitting position for long trips. Little more noisy road noise than I think there should be.”

LARRY D., IA (2015 Buick Regal)

“Sporty ride. A bit stiffer than the typical sedan, but not in a bad way. Seats are comfortable. However, the rear seats are difficult to enter and exit for an adult due to low door opening.”

DAVID H., WV (2015 Buick Regal)

“I LOVE how quiet it is inside the cabin, and that was the primary satisfaction factors for it. However, the seat is way too hard, and I really preferred the one in the Lacrosse. The climate system is downright dangerous! Whenever I use the outside or A/C air toward the windshield, it fogs it up over just a few minutes, and I have to turn it off or point it into the cabin until the spots go away. My other cars do NOT have this problem. I also really dislike the digital temperature controls, and”

KIRK H., NH (2015 Buick Regal)

“The seats are very comfortable and they hug your body.”

MARK D., CA (2015 Buick Regal)

“I'm a big person, therefore the seats are fine for the normal to smaller build person. For person of my build, the seats seem to be somewhat confining.”

Anonymous, KY (2015 Buick Regal)

Value

What Owners Say

“Pretty good but overpriced forth size of car. My Enclave Was a better value.”

LARRY D., IA (2015 Buick Regal)

“Looks and drives great!”

RANDY M., TX (2015 Buick Regal)

“I ended up getting $8K off sticker price. Dealer supposedly could only have that Regal GS on the lot for 3 months. GM wanted it sold or it had to be transferred to another dealership by that time. They made me a deal that was hard to refuse, bought it on the last day.”

DOUG M., CA (2015 Buick Regal)

“The Regal offered all of the qualities that were important to me at a lower price than other luxury sedans, and it was also much less expensive to insure than my previously-owned Lincoln MKZ. In addition, the gas usage is much lower than the 6-cylinder MKZ.”

SUSAN S., TN (2015 Buick Regal)
