What Owners Say
"I have a gas engine and Ford's 6-speed auto transmission. The constant shifting with even moderate hills is very distracting. Acceleration even when well under the rated GVWR is very poor. The turning radius is large. Really large. I mentioned the pitching problem in a previous question."
Anonymous, ID (2015 Ford F-350)"Rides just like a one-ton truck should. Stiff suspension, yet comfortable, adsorbing most bumps in the road. Acceleration is way beyond what I expected. Very quick."
James P., ME (2015 Ford F-350)"It wanders all the time, steering wheel responds. After moving three or four inches, dealer says it is in spec.thisis my 17 pickup noneor the others had this problem."
Anonymous, FL (2015 Ford F-350)"I tow a 12 ton 5th wheel and have never had a problem with acceleration (crossed the Rocky Mts. 3 times) or handling"
Jeffrey A., TX (2015 Ford F-350)"We haul a gooseneck horse trailer with living quarters. We have gone all over including thru the rocky mountains and the truck adjusts to what ever load we have. I have to remind myself that I have a trailer behind me."
Anonymous, LA (2015 Ford F-350)"Power when towing or hauling , fuel mileage when compared to a gas engine is better . Cost of driving a diesel when towing is less."
Anonymous, OR (2015 Ford F-350)"I use the the truck to pull a 40’ 5th wheel trailer and this truck handles the big trailer very well."
Eddy H., TX (2015 Ford F-350)"This is an 8000 lb truck with a 6.7 liter turbo-diesel and a 4.30 rear end. It will do a 0-60 time of less than 8 seconds. Handling for such a large truck is amazing due to the stiff suspension - it is very flat in turns and amazed my friend who commented that it handles more like a sports car. I love it."
Robert P., TX (2015 Ford F-350)"Awesome diesel engine and transmission. If the truck isn't carrying at least 1000 pounds of load, the ride is punishing."
Anonymous, ID (2015 Ford F-350)"Torque and engine horsepower is exceptional. Feel economy on diesel engine is very good."
David Z., NY (2015 Ford F-350)"The 6.7 L Powerstroke power and torque makes this 9500 lb (DRW, 4x4) truck surprisingly quick through all of the gears once the turbo builds pressure. It tows 14k lbs up and down 6% grades while maintaining speed with little driver input. Relatively smooth ride when unloaded and rides much better when loaded."
BRIAN R., OH (2015 Ford F-350)"Diesel option provides tremendous torque. Interior ride very comfortable and quiet."
DAVID Z., NY (2015 Ford F-350)"Good; acceleration, infomation system comfortable seats. Bad- takes a football field to turn around.but it is usually the largest vehicle in the Walmart parking lot."
LARRY B., VA (2015 Ford F-350)"I use it to haul a slide-in truck camper and it handles and accelerates amazingly well in spite of the fact the whole thing weighs almost 11,000 pounds and has a very high center of gravity."
Anonymous, CA (2015 Ford F-350)"With the 6.7l Power Stroke diesel engine, there has never been a need for additional power even when towing my 12,000 fifth wheel in hilly terrain yet. Mountain driving is coming up soon and I anticipate that there may be a need to downshift one or two gears when needed. Handling while empty is choppy in certain conditions as would be expected in a 1 ton pickup and when towing with 2000 lbs tongue weight certain road surfaces can be choppy as well. A vehicle of this nature may benefit from a"
FAYE H., WI (2015 Ford F-350)"The 6.7 liter diesel is an outstanding engine. I pull a 36 foot 5th wheel trailer. The engine is a real workhorse, and is the quietest diesel I've owned."
Anonymous, ID (2015 Ford F-350)"it is a work truck so you will feel the bumps and dips in the road and it will not accelerate quickly but it handles well and you know that there isn't much that will stand in you way on the trip, i.e. snow, slush, water or mud"
Sandy E., KY (2015 Ford F-350)"Has 4-wheel drive, but haven't had to use it yet. Tows a semi-loaded 16-foot utility trailer with no problems. Very disappointed with gas mileage!"
Anonymous, WA (2015 Ford F-350)"Great vehicle, everything works great. On highway trips I get up to 20 miles per gallon. Rides a little stiff and is a little more difficult to park but it is a big vehicle so I expect that."
Glenn A., CO (2015 Ford F-350)
"Easy to drive, plenty of passing power on the highway; always feels secure on the road."
Jane B., NH (2015 Ford F-350)
