The F-350 is a heavy-duty truck with a 1-ton capacity as opposed to the 1/2 ton of the F-150. The Super Duty line was redesigned for 2015 with new exterior and revised engines. The ride is stiff and bouncy, especially compared to the F-150. Ford's 6.0-liter turbodiesel packs some real punch and is fairly quiet and free of vibration. Stepping into the cabin is more difficult because of the high floor.

Overall Owner Satisfaction

Consumer Reports’ Annual Owner Satisfaction Survey can improve the chances of finding a compatible car match. How? Our survey data reveals whether, all things considered, owners would buy the same car again. The answer to that question is what determines our owner-satisfaction rating, which is a powerful piece of intel because it predicts how well a particular model will satisfy other owners.

What Owners Say

"Wished the front seats where wider"

Anonymous, MA (2018 Ford F-350)

"Long bed and towing capacity are great when hauling lots of things. Long bed smooths the ride out in this big truck."

Fred D., TX (2018 Ford F-350)

"Front suspension shakes violently when driving across bumps at moderate to highway speeds, leaving a feeling that something is about to come apart. Otherwise, the highway ride is nice and the interior noise is very quiet for a diesel. Seats are much more comfortable than expected for the lower trim level."

William A., CA (2018 Ford F-350)

Percentage of owners who would definitely purchase that same vehicle again. Owner-satisfaction Ratings are determined by the percentage of those who answered "definitely yes" to the question asked by the Consumer Reports Annual Auto Survey "Considering all factors (price, performance, reliability, comfort, enjoyment, etc.), would you get this car if you had to do it all over again?". If we don’t have sufficient data, a similar model might be used to form the owner-satisfaction score.
