Marc A., WA (2017 Honda CR-V)"Very smooth, corners well"
John K., SC (2017 Honda CR-V)"Accel is good enough; do not like the engine noise."
Anonymous, TX (2017 Honda CR-V)"The quick steering makes driving around town enjoyable. A very comfortable ride. Usable acceleration is great - much better than our previous generation CR-V."
Anonymous, CO (2017 Honda CR-V)"The car virtually drives itself"
Charles A., AZ (2017 Honda CR-V)"The styling on the new Honda is amazing. This is an absolutely beautiful little car and fun to drive. The new technology is impressive."
Mary M., IN (2017 Honda CR-V)"To much road noise"
Anonymous, PA (2017 Honda CR-V)"very smooth and intuitive handling; acceleration is a bit sluggish in economy mode but fine in regular mode"
Kent R., FL (2017 Honda CR-V)"The road noise in the driving compartment should be less, better sound proofing would be helpful."
Robert L., NY (2017 Honda CR-V)"acceleration is not as peppy as my 2014 EX; there is a slight drag before car accelerates."
Anonymous, NJ (2017 Honda CR-V)"Handles tight and has good control"
Chris Y., MN (2017 Honda CR-V)"I love this car! It handles very well on our mountain roads and acceleration is very good. I love the lane assist feature."
Marci M., CA (2017 Honda CR-V)"While there is some turbo lag, the acceleration of the CR-V is good, and very predictable. While the steering feel seems a little light, overall it handles like a dream, with a lot less body roll than I would expect in an SUV."
Anonymous, CA (2017 Honda CR-V)"Many things standout on the positive side: great drivetrain and handling; acceleration and braking are superb; excellent visibility all around when I drive; and so far a much higher than expected fuel economy."
Thomas S., AP (2017 Honda CR-V)"The handling of this car is great, responsive and smooth. But the 1.8 liter engine is a little slow."
Anonymous, OH (2017 Honda CR-V)"Great handling, ability to react, smoothly transition speeds"
Anonymous, VA (2017 Honda CR-V)"good improvement over past models. Transmission is effective. car is not as noisy as in the past."
Anonymous, CA (2017 Honda CR-V)"Acceleration could be better. Engine noise intrudes when hard accelerating. Otherwise, cabin is relatively quiet and the ride feels supple and well mannered."
Vincent R., NY (2017 Honda CR-V)"When necessary, it will get up and go!!"
Michael D., TX (2017 Honda CR-V)"Safety features like Lane avoidance an emergency stop"
Anonymous, NY (2017 Honda CR-V)"CVT system is smooth and responsive. Handling in curves is better than expected."
Anonymous, AL (2017 Honda CR-V)"It is smooth, both in rides and steering. It is fun to drive with good acceleration. The wheel alignment is outstanding and it is fun to drive."
Ronald M., AL (2017 Honda CR-V)"Acceleration and handling is excellent"
Jo S., NY (2017 Honda CR-V)"Steering centering is vague, and ride a bit stiff, but acceleration and handling are adequate overall. Fuel milage has been a very positive surprise for an AWD compact SUV. Driver aids are very good and helpful. Especially like the steering wheel flutter to indicate lane departure."
Anonymous, AZ (2017 Honda CR-V)"Turbo is good. Mileage is good."
Duane H., CO (2017 Honda CR-V)"Car accelerates well when merging onto a parkway. The turbo feature helps"
W S., NY (2017 Honda CR-V)"Drives like a little sports car."
Guillermo M., TX (2017 Honda CR-V)"good solid car but acceleration is sluggish from a full stop. a lot of room for hauling things and luggage, etc."
Anonymous, NY (2017 Honda CR-V)"Car handles great and is responsive. Would like to see better acceleration for emergency use."
Anonymous, IN (2017 Honda CR-V)"Acceleration is a bit wimpy until the turbo kicks in. Handling is lackluster compared to the 2002 Odyssey it replaced. The Ody was actually fun to drive; the CR-V is just OK. The Ody went around corners as if on rails and needed no steering tweaks on straightways; the CR-V, despite being smaller, is a bit sloppy in cornering and needs constant slight tweaks on straightways."
Timothy W., VT (2017 Honda CR-V)"Great handling, superior turning radius, great acceleration, exceptional fuel economy."
David J., UT (2017 Honda CR-V)"I waited to buy a CRV until Honda came out with the turbo charged engine. No regrets, it goes like a jack rabbit when needed. Handles well, corners well and is overall fun to drive."
Alan R., MT (2017 Honda CR-V)"I bought this car to replace my 2004 Honda Pilot. While overall it's a much more sophisticated car I wish it handled as well as the Pilot."
Anonymous, CA (2017 Honda CR-V)"We normally have Econ on all the time, but if required, we have turned it off and the acceleration is very good."
Milo L., FL (2017 Honda CR-V)"The driving experience is great--seating, handling, etc. that makes it less tiring for driving on long trips."
Karon S., MO (2017 Honda CR-V)"Exceptional handling for an SUV, especially compared to my previous vehicle. Excellent acceleration and the adaptive cruise control was a huge help on a long, tedious road trip."
Jack B., UT (2017 Honda CR-V)"THE SAFETY FACTORS ARE INCREDIBLE. I BOUGHT THIS CAR FOR MY UNCLE WHO IS 90 AND MY MOTHER WHO IS 77. THE LANE ASSISTANCE, CAMERAS, CRUISE CONTROL WHICH GIVES YOU A CHOICE OF HOW MANY CAR LINKS YOU WANT TO STAY BEHIND THE CAR IN FRONT OF YOU. I FOUND OUT YESTERDAY THAT WITH THE LANE ASSIST ON THE HIGHWAY THE CAR DRIVES ITSELF, IT WILL LET YOU KNOW IF IT REQUIRES YOU'RE ASSISTANCE.UNBELIEVABLE. THE CAR ALSO BRAKES FOR YOU IF IT HAS TO. WOW I LOVE IT FOR MY MOM AND UNCLE. THEY BOTH SHARE THIS FABUL..."
Linda D., IL (2017 Honda CR-V)"The LKAS system requires an adjustment in one's approach to driving, but I truly believe these systems will save lives."
Gary D., IL (2017 Honda CR-V)"Accelerates very well for a smaller engine."
Ray R., MN (2017 Honda CR-V)"Handling is much improved over 2013 crv. Acceleration is good. Turbo hesitation is occurring more often. Turbo noise is pronounced."
Anonymous, FL (2017 Honda CR-V)"The new engine is very busy when at the higher rpms but it does the job between 30 and 70"
Douglas K., WA (2017 Honda CR-V)"Good acceleration and great braking"
Anonymous, NC (2017 Honda CR-V)"The cr-v has all the pep needed for entering highways, passing, and steady driving. It is a very smooth ride."
Anonymous, TX (2017 Honda CR-V)"Adaptive Cruise Contol (ACC) - works great. Takes much the the stress out of driving in heavy traffic."
Henry H., TX (2017 Honda CR-V)"Amazing integration of the turbo motor and CVT. Instant response with great fuel economy."
Anonymous, AZ (2017 Honda CR-V)"In general, acceleration and handling of my CRV are quite satisfactory. The cruse control is at issue... It will suddenly cut back the speed of the car at too great a distance from the vehicle ahead. It interrupts any kind of smooth interstate driving..."
Anonymous, AL (2017 Honda CR-V)"Excellent handling for a SUV. It holds the road very well. I like the small turning radius when parking, etc."
Harvey W., FL (2017 Honda CR-V)"The 2017CR-V gives all riders a very comfortable ride including those in the back seat. The CR-V is also spacious and well designed with rich interior material. The Turbo acceleration gives you a lot of power when needed and responds very quickly which is a great asset and entering highway traffic. The handling is excellent in heavy snow covered roads and heavy rains. Very impressive driving and breaking when needed."
Levis O., ON (2017 Honda CR-V)"I really don’t like the cvt transmission"
Byron D., KY (2017 Honda CR-V)"The CR-V is a stable, smooth ride. It has enough acceleration to get onto highways and throughways, the "ECON" button saves gas, and I can easily park the car on the streets of NYC."
Anonymous, NY (2017 Honda CR-V)"Great visibility, sensing system, safety, and gas mileage"
Anonymous, RI (2017 Honda CR-V)"Vehicle is responsive when I press accelorator."
Laurence D., NY (2017 Honda CR-V)"Excellent MPG and smooth ride"
Anonymous, VA (2017 Honda CR-V)"Rear visibility is terrible. Seems like they didn't even try to make it good, but instead decided small windows were more stylish. I give it an F. It is like looking out of a tunnel."
David H., VT (2017 Honda CR-V)"1.5 turbo, great engine"
Anonymous, VA (2017 Honda CR-V)"quick and quiet"
Anonymous, OK (2017 Honda CR-V)"The 1.5L turbo motor has plenty of power. The vehicle has exceptional handling. Fuel economy is excellent. I am currently averaging 35.5 mpg."
Anonymous, UT (2017 Honda CR-V)"Great mileage. For 11000 average 35.7 MPG"
Curtis C., AZ (2017 Honda CR-V)"Transmission stutters slightly when shifting when A/C is on full."
Anonymous, NV (2017 Honda CR-V)"This is my first SUV - and I LOVE the handling. For a 4-cylinder, it accelerates very well."
Peter B., MA (2017 Honda CR-V)"Love the turbo for acceleration. Car handles well. However, safety suite becomes overloaded when driving on twisty mountain roads, I live in the mountains, and turns off. Also, I have had to use the spare tire (donut) which activates the TPMS warning and turns of the safety suite including auto high/low beams. This is most annoying. Dash board lights up with multiple system warnings. Stopping the car, shutting it off will reset the systems for overload but the warnings remain while using the spare tire."
Philip C., CA (2017 Honda CR-V)"car is quick"
John S., NY (2017 Honda CR-V)"Excellent all around. Much less road noise then the 04"
John F., NY (2017 Honda CR-V)"Fine, but I hear rumors of a gas/water problem in the oil. I have not experienced this, but Honda should clarify."
Anonymous, OH (2017 Honda CR-V)"Love the way it handles, easy to drive, smooth & feels like a regular passenger car. Has good acceleration in traffic."
Anonymous, CO (2017 Honda CR-V)"Very good performance"
Gary B., NY (2017 Honda CR-V)"Emergency braking did not stop car until it was very close to car in front of me; then it came to an abrupt stop. I thought I was going to hit the car but did not."
Anonymous, NH (2017 Honda CR-V)"This CRV accelerates better than any vehicle I have ever owned...it is very quick, especially since it is only a turbo 1.5l, 4-cylinder! Handling on any road is a breeze, this vehicle is so agile it almost drives itself."
Art H., PA (2017 Honda CR-V)"Very responsive handling Love all the driver-assist features such as back-up camera, side-view warning sensors, front warning for too close"
Anonymous, NC (2017 Honda CR-V)"The turbo gives the CR-V power to accelerate"
Paula W., OH (2017 Honda CR-V)"GREAT HANDLING .FUN TO DRIVE."
Peter B., WI (2017 Honda CR-V)"Has good acceleration. Handles very well. love the feature that warns when you drift out of lane"
Anonymous, NH (2017 Honda CR-V)"Safety sensors operate very well in good weather. If driving in heavy rain or snow, radar sensor does not function nor does front camera or lane sensor. Sensors become operative once you go through heavy snow (removing snow) and heavy rain. Very slow on acceleration. no comparison to the 2014."
Anonymous, NJ (2017 Honda CR-V)"Comfort, handling, good mileage."
Linda R., NV (2017 Honda CR-V)"This car has excellent acceleration, handling and road feel. I have put the car through sharp turns and it holds the road very well."
Marilyn S., CA (2017 Honda CR-V)"I wish it had better take off power"
Anonymous, NC (2017 Honda CR-V)"handles well slight turbo lag at first but excellent power after that."
Anonymous, NY (2017 Honda CR-V)"Good drive position, responsive acceleration"
Anonymous, TX (2017 Honda CR-V)"It is smooth when increasing the speed and there is no hesitation feeling of changing gears."
Frank C., IL (2017 Honda CR-V)"The lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control and automated braking are fantastic. Won't buy a car again without it. The lane keep assist is more responsive and natural on the CRV than the Pacifica."
Anonymous, IL (2017 Honda CR-V)"Both are adequate to good for a family car. Not outstanding, but certainly adequate for the car's purpose."
R N., AR (2017 Honda CR-V)"both are very good for a suv."
K D., MI (2017 Honda CR-V)"Going from a Grand Caravan for 20 years to the quickness of the CRV has been a big plus. Turning, making a U-turn and all around handling have made it a pleasure to drive."
Mark H., NY (2017 Honda CR-V)"My Honda CR-V is very easy to handle and the acceleration is awesome. I have a very stylish car that I'm very happy with!!"
Mary H., TX (2017 Honda CR-V)"Plenty of power for rapid acceleration. However the CVT gives you an annoying drone accelerating at part throttle or a thrashing machine a full throttle. We might own two of these cars (EXL modes) if it were available with a good conventional automatic or especially a manual 6 speed."
Mark S., SC (2017 Honda CR-V)"acceleration is very good and the car is very stable at speed. I enjoy driving the vehicle"
Anonymous, MO (2017 Honda CR-V)"1. Acceleration good but would have paid extra for 250+ HP and a conventional 8 speed automatic. 2. Handling light and precise; very little roll. Ride very good."
Anonymous, CA (2017 Honda CR-V)"The acceleration and handling are excellent. On uneven pavement the ride is firm and very much under control. Acceleration with the turbo is fine, too, but you never ask the question that matters! Draw the line and divide. The Mileage is what stands out. You said 28 average. I got 28.9 last week on a 600 mile trip. The car was fully loaded and I was hauling a 13 foot Boston Whaler on a trailer with a 20 hp Tohatsu outboard. Overall average for 23,000 miles is 32.4! That is something to shout about!"
Henry D., FL (2017 Honda CR-V)"The handling is great. Very easy to drive. The small 1500cc Turbo has more than enough power and acceleration."
William R., NM (2017 Honda CR-V)"It took some time getting used to the TURBO sound. When on ECO in the city there isn't much pep but on the highway with the ECO on the gas mileage is about 35 mpg."
Darrel L., TX (2017 Honda CR-V)"As previously stated, excellent acceleration and mileage, nimble handling"
Anonymous, CA (2017 Honda CR-V)"This car has great acceleration and handles exceptionally well. We really like the lane assist and adaptive cruise control. I believe those features are the future of self-driving cars and I personally can't wait for that day!"
Michael P., TX (2017 Honda CR-V)"Going from econo mode to regular is quick when i need acceleration."
Mark W., MA (2017 Honda CR-V)"It is one of the easiest cars i have driven in years. My only complaint is the size of the blind spots, but that is partially corrected by the back up view on the monitor"
Joyce M., AR (2017 Honda CR-V)"The 1.5 turbo 4cyl and CVT transmission do not work well together when trying to smoothly pull away from a standstill. The vehicle hesitates somewhat and boggs a little and then you have to apply more throttle to pull away. Not smooth like the older CRV with the 2.4 4-cylinder engine and automatic trans."
Gary C., CA (2017 Honda CR-V)"Acceleration, handling, and gas mileage are excellent. Very pleased and surprised with the acceleration and gas mileage. Handling is very good also. However, I do not recommend the CRV due to the poor seats and the noise level."
Roger G., CT (2017 Honda CR-V)"I love the lane keep assist and adaptive cruse control on long interstate drives. It almost drives itself. I feel less stress and fatigue after several hours behind the wheel. It has good acceleration even when fully loaded."
Anonymous, FL (2017 Honda CR-V)"I really love the way my CRV drives and handles. And the turbo delivers ample power while giving me great gas mileage. Also, this vehicle has a substantial feel of weight and heft; more so than past cars I've owned."
Darryl L., FL (2017 Honda CR-V)"It is very easy handling"
Anonymous, AK (2017 Honda CR-V)"The car is comfortable for long drives. It handles very well, and does emergency moves easily. The newest safety features make the experience a pleasure."
M F., FL (2017 Honda CR-V)"I can rely on the handling. This is important to me when transporting grandchildren. I always know what to expect."
Sharon W., NC (2017 Honda CR-V)"Excessive throttle lag / sluggish throttle response Sluggish, choppy acceleration Loud engine droning under heavy acceleration Substantial body lean"
Anonymous, PA (2017 Honda CR-V)"The CR-V's acceleration and handling are very good generally, but I'm still getting used to were the front end is. (Can't they bring back hood ornaments. LOL) It's a wide-body car and it's taking some time getting used to that factor, since/while driving the smaller Civic."
Edward C., OH (2017 Honda CR-V)"Turbocharged 4-cylinder engine responds very well, and provides good acceleration response on the highway. Very good gas mileage at high speed."
Anonymous, CO (2017 Honda CR-V)"Acceleration and handling are very good. The turbo engine gives an excellent acceleration when over passing. It is a much better engine compared to older CR-V models."
Irene M., NB (2017 Honda CR-V)"Excellent acceleration and handling"
Anonymous, MN (2017 Honda CR-V)"Excellent performance"
Anonymous, MN (2017 Honda CR-V)"The Sirius radio driver/passenger is poor and confusing although the steering wheel controls are good to try good."
David J., UT (2017 Honda CR-V)"This car handles better than my Altima sedan. The small 1.5 engine paired with the turbo never feels underpowered. I am pleasantly surprised with how well this car drives."
Gary C., CA (2017 Honda CR-V)"This small SUV handles like a car, which is a good thing. The 1.5 liter turbocharged engine provides a surprising amount of power, once it gets going."
Cindy K., CO (2017 Honda CR-V)"interfere. Amount of turbo lag, good control, fun to drive, traction control could be better, front end collision avoidance could be better."
Jonathan H., NC (2017 Honda CR-V)"At highway speeds, the car has plenty of passing power and good overall acceleration considering its a 4 banger with a turbo. The car has lane keep and adaptive cruise which reduces driver fatigue."
Anonymous, GA (2017 Honda CR-V)"So good at driving itself (almost) that it is a pleasure to drive and gives piece of mind about driver assist features helping when needed-cruise control slowing behind vehicles, braking assist, lane assist"
Anonymous, VA (2017 Honda CR-V)"The car has a turbo engine and a variable speed transmission. It accelerates nicely. It also has an "economy" button that improves gas mileage and only minimally impacts acceleration. The automatic cruise control is very nice when driving in traffic, because it slows the car at a safe distance when the car in front slows down."
Elliot K., IN (2017 Honda CR-V)"1.5L turbo engine is ideal for mountain driving, cruise control holds steady speed during climbs. Steering feel and responsiveness is excellent."
Anonymous, AZ (2017 Honda CR-V)"What accleration? You have to stand on the gas to get it to accelerate at all."
Anonymous, NJ (2017 Honda CR-V)"For a 1.5 l engine it has a lot of zip"
Chas C., IL (2017 Honda CR-V)"This car corners beautifully, unlike most American cars despite the fact its made here in the USA. Really noisy when accelerating though, if I owned it instead of leasing it, I would invest in a new exhaust system that would be quieter and breath better."
Seamus M., NH (2017 Honda CR-V)"VERY good acceleration. Highway driving is a joy."
Michael D., TX (2017 Honda CR-V)"CRV has a lot of pep, a very comfortable ride, and good handling."
Anonymous, PA (2017 Honda CR-V)"The adaptive cruise control, lane departure warnings, etc. make highway driving much less tiring."
Vicki S., VA (2017 Honda CR-V)"great little 4 cylinder turbo, not as peppy as my previous 6 cylinder SUV but better on fuel"
Jim B., ON (2017 Honda CR-V)"best driving vehicle i ever owned. smooth and responsive"
Dan L., NY (2017 Honda CR-V)"Despite some comments in various forums, I find the acceleration, even with ECON mode, to be more than adequate. I might deactivate if I'm merging on a highway, but otherwise I leave it on with no worries about maneuvering in traffic."
William N., AZ (2017 Honda CR-V)"Handling is precise and quick. Acceleration is very good and fairly quiet."
Anonymous, NE (2017 Honda CR-V)"The pickup for a 1.5 Liter engine is excellent. The car feels very strong around turns and brakes very smoothly."
Anonymous, OH (2017 Honda CR-V)"The new driver assist system works well but is a bit scary and eerie in operation. hard to trust the electronics to derive me around!"
Tom B., NY (2017 Honda CR-V)"Fuel economy is good for a turbocharged responsive engine. The handling is good, but I find some of the standard safety items a nucense such as the lane assistance feature. The warning bell or buzzer drives me nuts. Every time you pass an intersection and the system loses sigh of the white line you get beeped. Too much!"
Raymond T., FL (2017 Honda CR-V)"Sound system difficult to understand and operate The vehicle is handles very well and with the safety features is easy to drive."
Anonymous, BC (2017 Honda CR-V)"It is quick to respond with turbo when needed. The car stays the number of car lengths you set, behind the car in front of you, and stops by itself When traffic ahead stops."
Carlene S., WA (2017 Honda CR-V)"1.5L turbo is ideal for mountain driving, cruise control holds steady road speed during climbs. Steering feel and responsiveness is excellent."
Anonymous, AZ (2017 Honda CR-V)"It is equipped with a turbocharger which makes passing a really fast & fun process. All Honda handling is excellent."
Joann F., NY (2017 Honda CR-V)"Very surprised at acceleration fro such a small engine, cvt was also a pleasant surprise"
Ronald C., ME (2017 Honda CR-V)"Car has adequate power and good safety features (LKAS, adaptive cruise control, front end crash protection)"
Philip C., CA (2017 Honda CR-V)"The 2017 has the turbo charged engine. Having had rental cars previously: different makes and models, climbing mountains was slow and sluggish. This Honda CR-V doesn’t skip a beat when challenged. Truly amazing to us,,"
Diane V., KY (2017 Honda CR-V)"The auto braking gets confused by large signs and large trucks... hits brakes at odd times. Car is adjusted to factory specs."
Anonymous, NY (2017 Honda CR-V)"Great handling and acceleration. After 17 months, I still love it!"
Anonymous, PA (2017 Honda CR-V)"Handling is excellent. We particularly love the safety features. Acceleration is a little sluggish especially from a dead stop."
T C., IN (2017 Honda CR-V)"Both acceleration and handling are great, as to bad nothing. Just came back from a 700 mile trip and the car was great on country roads and highways."
Larry B., CT (2017 Honda CR-V)"Accelerates well and handles very good. A pleasure to drive."
Anonymous, FL (2017 Honda CR-V)"All good. Great engine, comfortable seats, good intuitive electronics, driver friendly. Maybe not totally satisfied with range - gas tank too small maybe."
Anonymous, VA (2017 Honda CR-V)"The CR-V feels sporty and is peppy enough for us."
Anonymous, CA (2017 Honda CR-V)"Love the cruise control that keeps you at a certain distance from the car in front of you. I had just purchased this vehicle and went to Florida on vacation and then had to evacuate 7 days later when Hurricane Irma was threatening Florida and I got into the hurricane evacuation traffic that was stop and go, then 40 mph, then 60 mph then bumper to bumper in a slow creep and the navigation system helped me to speed up and slow down during my 15 hour drive from Orlando to Atlanta, normally about a 7 hour drive. This vehicle helped me then and I feel safer now that it helps me to drive and watches out for things I may not see."
Thomas C., TN (2017 Honda CR-V)"Has good acceleration for a mid-size SUV. It has solid handling - not too soft and not too much like a truck."
Shane P., NV (2017 Honda CR-V)"Good handling good ride very comfortable seat on long drives"
Jack G., OR (2017 Honda CR-V)"Really handles well and lots of acceleration when called upon. The Adaptive Cruise Control and all the other Honda Sensing options make for an enjoyable ride."
Anonymous, MO (2017 Honda CR-V)"There is turbo-lag but it's minor. The engine makes noise in the beginning but quickly disappears."
Michael V., TX (2017 Honda CR-V)"New for 2017/2018, the turbo engine out of the Civic is a joy to drive. No turbo lag, and accelerates better than any small SUV on the market. I was never a fan of CVT's, but this one works phenomenally well."
Eric M., NC (2017 Honda CR-V)"acceleration and turning radius"
Anonymous, CA (2017 Honda CR-V)"Love everything about the car except it has a vibration rattle in the dash area that the dealer doesn’t seem be able to fix. (They have worked on this problem 3 times but we still have that rattle). It occurs while engine is between 1200 and 1500 rpms with slight acceleration or at low speed on very rough road."
George H., MO (2017 Honda CR-V)"The car basically drives itself."
Anonymous, IN (2017 Honda CR-V)"The auto could use more insulation. Without loud music there is too much road/tire noise"
Gregory J., NC (2017 Honda CR-V)"Doesn’t seem to have that much pick up. Handling is adequate but not as enjoyable as a sedan. Blind spots make driving uneasy even with the electronics and sensors"
Charles H., CA (2017 Honda CR-V)"Responsive handling, very quick getting to speed and the braking is excellent"
Gloria C., CA (2017 Honda CR-V)"Handles and rides excellent, sporty yet comfortable, a good balance."
Michael S., PA (2017 Honda CR-V)"CVT makes for a very good driving experience. Goes well from stop to start and on expressways, whether changing lanes or accelerating on on entrance ramp"
Anonymous, NY (2017 Honda CR-V)"it has the turbo engine and acceleration is great when merging in traffic or passing another vehicle"
Anonymous, NY (2017 Honda CR-V)"Great acceleration, especially noticeable when merging onto the expressway or passing. I live in a hilly area, and even with the ECO engaged, the car has no problem with hills. Much better than earlier CRVs. Handling is also improved - tighter, smoother steering."
Teresa H., OH (2017 Honda CR-V)"The CVT transmission does not give enough control when driving in mountains"
Anonymous, CO (2017 Honda CR-V)"Very sluggish from a dead stop, especially with ECON function active. With ECON on and using cruise control also sluggish when getting back into cruise control speed after coming out of it for some reason."
Anonymous, NY (2017 Honda CR-V)"Great handling and good accelaration"
Nicolaas P., ON (2017 Honda CR-V)"Safe and secure handling in all conditions,"

Richard R., PA (2017 Honda CR-V)"The CRV has the 1.5 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. For such a small engine it gives the vehicle very good acceleration while providing consistently good gas mileage."
Thomas S., CO (2017 Honda CR-V)"I like the cvt transmission. Very smooth acceleration, great gas milage"
J R., NC (2017 Honda CR-V)"This little car is amazing. The acceleration, even in economy mode, is comparable to some of the biggest souped up cars out there. Great job on Honda's part in getting the best performance out of their V4 engine."
Anonymous, NV (2017 Honda CR-V)"Great acceleration for 1500 cc engine, especially with Eco turned off. seems nimble and responsive."
Anonymous, NY (2017 Honda CR-V)"The CRV is surprisingly responsive. The engine is small, however the turbo definately makes up for its size. Cornering and overall handling are excellent. The only complaint is that the factory tires are loud and the road noise is not desirable."
Anonymous, AL (2017 Honda CR-V)"Blind spot alerts very helpful, especially when changing lanes."
Anonymous, CA (2017 Honda CR-V)"Great turbo out of the ramp into traffic even if a bit of lag. Handling is easy with power steering which does not under or ever steer. I love the ACC with LKA"
Anonymous, ME (2017 Honda CR-V)"Good acceleration and I love the cruse controls with the lane mitigation system that warns you about your blind spots and when you begin to depart the lanes."
Mark L., GU (2017 Honda CR-V)"Even though it is a smaller engine, it is quite peppy and accelerates well. The engine does tend to be a bit noisy."
Anonymous, MN (2017 Honda CR-V)"Engine performance in economy mode or in normal mode. No noticeable gear changes with CVT transmission. Set auto cruse control in normal mode on hills, maintains set speed and will maintain set following distance to vehcle in front of me when going up or down hills."
William L., AL (2017 Honda CR-V)"Smooth transmission, especially on highway, more than adequate acceleration, great handling for am SUV (I have a MX5"
Anonymous, OK (2017 Honda CR-V)"Handling is excellent, but in econ mode, acceleration is sluggish."
B G., NY (2017 Honda CR-V)"Acceleration from a stop is too sluggish. This vehicle needs a v6 with more horsepower"
Tony D., NY (2017 Honda CR-V)"Acceration with turbo engine is much improved over previous models."
Anonymous, NH (2017 Honda CR-V)"control"
Anonymous, TX (2017 Honda CR-V)"Adaptive cruise control removes tension while driving heavy traffic."
D G., NY (2017 Honda CR-V)"with the turbo, it has fast pick up and goes very nice, and good MPG"
Roger W., FL (2017 Honda CR-V)"Good acceleration--Handles well--Good gas mileage"
Anonymous, NC (2017 Honda CR-V)"Acceleration is surprisingly good for such a modest engine which consistently manages to achieve over 30 mpg. Handling is adequate, but not outstanding. Good for a crossover, but not quite up to sedan standards."
Anonymous, AZ (2017 Honda CR-V)"Acceleration much improved over earlier model, very noticeable improvement on hills."
Anonymous, RI (2017 Honda CR-V)"Handles very well. Lane departure and adaptive cruise are fantastic options"
Anonymous, ON (2017 Honda CR-V)"Car handles well. Get a lot of road noise"
Anonymous, PA (2017 Honda CR-V)"Responsive handling with a fairly smooth ride. Very quick acceleration from a standing start as well as on the highway such as when passing. With in ECON mode I normally average about 33 MPG during highway driving. CVT is terrific and is a perfect match for the 4 cylinder turbo engine. Would recommend for any extended driving."

Anonymous, DE (2017 Honda CR-V)"good acceleration but noisy when pushed."
Anonymous, MI (2017 Honda CR-V)"the 1.5 turbocharged engine has gobs and gobs of power to climb the Rockies, get into traffic lanes on the freeway easily, and the handling is crisp and precise."
David D., CO (2017 Honda CR-V)"The turbo engine and CVT provide great acceleration and on a recent trip of about 4600 miles it was flawless. Highway speeds and stop-and-start driving all went well."
Robert H., MN (2017 Honda CR-V)"I really like the reactive cruise control and lane departure system"

Anonymous, NY (2017 Honda CR-V)"Very responsive and stable."
Anonymous, FL (2017 Honda CR-V)"Very smooth and quiet. Good acceleration, adequate but not especially strong. Handling is good, ride smoothes out bumps nicely."
Linda F., CT (2017 Honda CR-V)"2.4L engine is fine, if you don't drive on Texas freeways where you get plowed under if you don't hit 70 by the time you exit the on-ramp. Like most, a 4cy engine in 100 degree Texas heat is just not enough."
Anonymous, TX (2017 Honda CR-V)"Very crisp handling at any speed. Not tiring on very long trips."
K H., WA (2017 Honda CR-V)"very peppy turbo charged engine handles very nicely on country road"
Rick H., PA (2017 Honda CR-V)"Love the adaptive cruise control."
Ashley C., OR (2017 Honda CR-V)"Light to moderate acceleration is decent once the turbo is warmed up, which can take a while on really cold days. Hard acceleration is adequate but not rewarding, with engine buzzing and sounding unrefined. The 2003 CRV I had previously sang when pushed hard (5 spd manual). Handling is good with quick steering. 4 wheel drive system is a big improvement over the 2003."
Anonymous, NH (2017 Honda CR-V)"This vehicle has the turbo driven 4-cylinder engine which provides plenty of acceleration for me. The transmission operates flawlessly. I’m happy with the ride and the improved cabin noise reduction. I’m very satisfied with this vehicle and recommend it without reservations."

Anonymous, NJ (2017 Honda CR-V)"Responsive"
Anonymous, WI (2017 Honda CR-V)"Exceeds expectations, which were high because I had read many publications about this vehicle. Powerful engine paired to a responsive transmission. Great handling and good road feel to the steering. And economical to boot."
Joseph C., BC (2017 Honda CR-V)"Quiet ride compared to prior CRVs, and many other SUVs, superb handling, and excellent safety features"
Anonymous, CA (2017 Honda CR-V)"I like the handling, and everything about it. Mileage is also good, 33 mpg on highway."
Juanita B., CO (2017 Honda CR-V)"for a 4 cylinder it accelerates very nicely. It handles very nicely and responds quickly"
Ron B., WA (2017 Honda CR-V)"Acceleration is delayed and wimpy until the turbo kicks in. Handling is a bit clumsy; my 2002 Odyssey had sharper handling, even though it was a much larger vehicle."
Timothy W., VT (2017 Honda CR-V)"Needs more power. Too much road/engine noise."
Alan P., AB (2017 Honda CR-V)"It's not slow, but it definitely conveys a bunch of noise when accelerating."
Jeffrey W., CA (2017 Honda CR-V)"Acceptable even in mountain driving."
Anonymous, AZ (2017 Honda CR-V)"Engine runs smoothly but the CVT transmission gives a constant surging sensation.Dealer says it's normal. If so I'll never buy another car of any brand that has this transmission."
Frank L., FL (2017 Honda CR-V)"Very comfortable ride. I have back problems and the multiseat adjustnebtbcontrols helps me stay comfortable on long rides. Very good road handling."

Anonymous, ON (2017 Honda CR-V)"great go power w/turbo.also great handling and lane assist is a great feature which i use when driving over 45 mph.the wide angle camera is fantastic for backing up ..."
Anonymous, FL (2017 Honda CR-V)"I really like the turbo and how quickly it accelerates for a 4 cylinder car. The ride is a little stiff, but it handles well and does well in the snow."
Anonymous, PA (2017 Honda CR-V)"Handling is god with less noice than my 2014 Honda CR-V. Like many safety features"
David W., FL (2017 Honda CR-V)"Really excellent"
Anonymous, CO (2017 Honda CR-V)"Self steering, lane deviation, speed control"
Anonymous, VA (2017 Honda CR-V)"Acceleration is pretty good if you follow the driving rules taught for gas economy. If you are looking for a speedy acceleration, this vehicle is not for for. There is a clear lag if you try for a "jackrabbit" sort of acceleration. Handling is nice with only moderate body roll. It is moderate enough my BMW loving spouse can tolerate driving the CR-V."
Anonymous, VA (2017 Honda CR-V)"The CR-V has excellent acceleration when needed and is very quick for a 4 cylinder engine. It is fun to drive on the highway because of the solid feel and easy steering."
Ronald M., AL (2017 Honda CR-V)"turbo really kicks in when needed"
Michael D., NJ (2017 Honda CR-V)"The acceleration is very good in urban situations and more than adequate on interstate. The handling is precise, one of the beat cars I have driven."
Jere H., TN (2017 Honda CR-V)"The Honda CR-V accelerates much better with the 1.5 liter turbo engine than any of my previous cars which had 2.4 liter engines. It feels like a powerful six. As far as handling goes it has a steering system that is great. The vehicle wants to follow your commands and lets you know where you are going."
David S., IL (2017 Honda CR-V)"Excellent Safety Features, lane change, and auto control of speed between you and the vehicle in front."

Anonymous, GA (2017 Honda CR-V)"Vehicle is very responsive and fun to drive"
Anonymous, PA (2017 Honda CR-V)"Handling is fine. I have been pleased. I am disappointed with the acceleration when merging to highway. I punch the pedal and it seems to pause and then accelerate. I am sure it is because it is a 4 cylinder"
Anonymous, WA (2017 Honda CR-V)"I love the eco button feature that I can turn off and on for better acceleration around town. I have had it on some fairly high clearance back roads and have been very impressed with it's performance."
Roger S., UT (2017 Honda CR-V)"1.5 L turbo 4 has plenty of power yet delivers excellent gas mileage. The CVT works well with it due to the wide torque band - unlike most cars with this type of transmission that lack a turbocharger."
Chris G., FL (2017 Honda CR-V)"My goodness it is quick when you need it to be! And without the noise. It just goes faster without 'strain'."
Elizabeth L., VA (2017 Honda CR-V)"Acceleration and handling"
Anonymous, ON (2017 Honda CR-V)"I really like the acceleration for the car; however, I need to accelerate more gently than any other car I've ever had when I'm pulling onto a perpendicular road because I'm unable to control it in the turn. I must be fully straight before I attempt to accelerate rapidly. The entrances onto highways, however, are close enough to parallel that rapid acceleration is easy to manage."
Barbara S., MO (2017 Honda CR-V)"Safety is excellent. I am bale to put my lawn mower, folded u of course, in the rear "trunk" and take it for repairs. Being able to move large items is a real overall money saver. For some reason the this car also develops a hazy film in the cabin on the windows. I believe it is very fine exhaust which leaks into the cabin. My biggest concern is that if this fine exhaust dust is leaking into the car and afixing to the windows, what other gases are leaking into the cabin....CO? I don't like breathing a fine dust into my lungs while driving. I don't "feel" anything, but it clearly is a fine gray dust on the windows that needs to be cleaned periodically."
Anonymous, NY (2017 Honda CR-V)"4-cyclinder accelerates crisply. Cruise control adjusts to speed of vehicle ahead, making highway driving much less demanding. No more on and off with the cruise to maintain spacing."
Roger R., AZ (2017 Honda CR-V)"It has a lot of pep for such a small engine, is nimble in traffic and it gets incredible gas mileage."
Anonymous, NY (2017 Honda CR-V)"I love my CRV"
Anonymous, MA (2017 Honda CR-V)"Just yesterday we had to pass a vehicle on a secondary road when another car traveling at a high rate of speed coming at us gave us no choice but to continue. The turbo kicked in and we accelerated very well and cut in to avoid the collision. My husband saluted the other driver."
Charlene D., CT (2017 Honda CR-V)"Enjoyable ride. The passenger side blind spot is sometimes difficult. I have to train myself to look for the flashing light in the passenger side mirror for vehicles in the blind spot."
Paul M., IL (2017 Honda CR-V)"Ride and comfort is great. While the engine is strong and capable when pushed, the low speed accelerator response is sluggish and the engine often sounds like it's struggling."
Anonymous, VA (2017 Honda CR-V)"The Car really has sports car handling and the acceleration is incredible especially when compared to our other CRV (2004)"
Anonymous, MT (2017 Honda CR-V)"I bought this car because of the new 4 cyl turbo engine. It has the usual turbo lag which I can live with. Most current driving is city with lesser mpg. When highway driving, I have gotten very good mpg, 34-36 mpg hwy cruising which is the second reason I bought this car. I consider myself an easy and steady driver style. This is also one of the few fwd CRVs in CO. Most all others are 4wd. My philosophy is, if conditions are bad enough that you need 4wd (as in snow), you shouldn't be out driving."
Ned H., CO (2017 Honda CR-V)
"Handling is smooth and U-turns are easy. Acceleration is very good with the turbo. The cruise control which adjusts speed with traffic is excellent."
Robert H., MN (2017 Honda CR-V)
