What Owners Say

"I have been very pleased with the acceleration and handling of the Fit. It is easy to accelerate to get on the Interstate. It stops quickly if a deer or other road hazard appears. It is easy to change direction and avoid pot holes and so on."

SUE R., WA (2013 Honda Fit)

"My Fit is a manual transmission and it is a lot of fun to drive."

ANGUS S., NY (2013 Honda Fit)

"The Fit does not handle snow and ice very well. Gets stuck in snow and slides on ice."

JAN B., IN (2013 Honda Fit)

"I love the way the Fit handles. The acceleration is very good from a stop and at lower speeds. At highway the acceleration is acceptable but it would be nice to better acceleration at highway speeds."

ERIC O., WA (2013 Honda Fit)

"I prefer manual transmission. The driver seat is too low. Unable to raise. Factory notice on airbag, but local dealer unable to repair. Mileage lower than previous Fits"

P C., AL (2013 Honda Fit)

"Car does not have enough power."

BEN O., FL (2013 Honda Fit)

"Dissatisfied because the automatic transmission is slow to shift at low speeds."

Anonymous, CA (2013 Honda Fit)

"acceleration is very peppy in this Honda Fit !"

Anonymous, OH (2013 Honda Fit)

"I feel there should have had 1 of two option re transmission: on the hwy the engine is running at 3k rpm 1: over drive, 1: higher ratio in 5th"

Anonymous, ON (2013 Honda Fit)

"Excellent handling and visibility"

Anonymous, CA (2013 Honda Fit)

"This car is just fun to drive!"

JOSEPH B., NY (2013 Honda Fit)

"Wonderful car for everyday driving, fun and satisfing to drive. With manual transmission anyway"

KEITH F., WA (2013 Honda Fit)

"handling, traction is excellent in bad weather"

Anonymous, MO (2013 Honda Fit)

"Although it accelerates good when pressed, for daily performance, it needs little more. Unimpressive gas milage. A little let down, really. Ride and noise level should be improved."

N G., NJ (2013 Honda Fit)

"We use this as our 'getting around town' car. It handles well, is fun to drive, easy to park, gets great gas mileage and has a lot of storage capacity for a small car."

Anonymous, SC (2013 Honda Fit)

"I love how it drives except on turns and having to stop fast. It doesn't feel right on turns. I drive a distance away from vehicles if I'm not driving very slowly because I can't stop fast."

J B., TN (2013 Honda Fit)

"Fun car to drive but it is low to the ground and sometimes hits bottom up inclines. The hood of the car is so low you can't see it and you don't know if you are going to hit the front end when you park. Its also a bit small for two people."

Anonymous, CA (2013 Honda Fit)

"I think folks like this car so much because it's very reaponsive. A major factor of this is because of the automatic transmission. Unfortunately starting in 2015 Honda is using the CVT type transmission and therefore I don't believe people will like the driving experience as much."

WILLIAM J., TX (2013 Honda Fit)

"Acceleration is very slow. I could live with that if the gas mileage was excellent but it's only fair. The engine is very small. I get that acceleration will be slow but I want better gas mileage as the payoff."

CHARLES V., IL (2013 Honda Fit)

"The only problem I have with it is that it seems somewhat underpowered and makes a lot of road noise when accelerating up hills. Also the gas tank seems small so that it has to be filled up a lot."

Anonymous, VA (2013 Honda Fit)

"Not a performance vehicle, but the manual transmission is fun to drive."

Anonymous, ON (2013 Honda Fit)

"Excellent on handling, slower on acceleration."

Anonymous, ON (2013 Honda Fit)

"Good: cornering, adequate acceleration (small engine but light weight and maual transmission), nimble/maneuverable, responsive. Bad: Long trips can wear on me though I did log a 800+ mile day this summer. What the can gains in cornering it looses in cushiness. I feel the bumps."

MICHAEL B., AR (2013 Honda Fit)

"Accelerator is very abrupt"

JAMES V., NC (2013 Honda Fit)

"transmission shifting is sluggish when accelerating, could be I am not used to this type of transmission"

Anonymous, MA (2013 Honda Fit)

"It doesn't have the "get-up-and-go" that my Mazda Protege had - even when the Protege had 250,000 miles on it. The Fit also doesn't get the gas mileage the Protege was getting (agin, even when the Protege had 250,00 miles on it.)"

Anonymous, NC (2013 Honda Fit)

"Accelerates poorly--can't get out of its own way, and that's fairly dangerous when attempting to enter the freeway. I have had an accident in hazardous weather that would not have occurred in a vehicle that handled more responsively. The Fit seems to drive as well as it does only because it is so lightweight; but that it IS so flimsy, makes it seem unsafe"

PAULA K., GA (2013 Honda Fit)

"Doesn't have good pick up to get up hills or enter freeways well"

HILARY M., TX (2013 Honda Fit)

"This car is very easy to see out of and is amazing to maneuver with in traffic."

RUSSELL K., CA (2013 Honda Fit)

"It is a standard shift and shifts quickly and smoothly. It has a small turning circle, making U-turns and parallel parking quite easy."

Anonymous, NY (2013 Honda Fit)

"Feels safe but performs when i need it to."

Venus K., CA (2013 Honda Fit)

"Good -- does the job for day to day work commutes Bad -- acceleration could use a bit more torque at times."

William K., CA (2013 Honda Fit)

"Great little car with great five speed gear box."

Anonymous, BC (2013 Honda Fit)

"soooo much fun to drive"

Kevin O., MD (2013 Honda Fit)

"The acceleration is something to be desired. The engine is under-powered and consequently the gas mileage is terrible since you you're forced to step harder on the accelerator to get going. The engine seems to be laboring going up hill. It is a cute vehicle and has plenty of space, but a bigger engine would have made this a well-rounded vehicle."

Ron B., BC (2013 Honda Fit)

"standard fun to drive. holds the road well. need to shift to 4 or 3 to accelerate."

Anonymous, BC (2013 Honda Fit)

"The paint is not good. Scratches easily. This is the only thing I am disappointed in because otherwise I LOVE this car."

Anonymous, FL (2013 Honda Fit)

"Acceleration a bit weak entering interstate traffic patterns"

Anonymous, NC (2013 Honda Fit)

"Engine hesitates for a few moments when accelerating."

Bruce N., MN (2013 Honda Fit)

"Good acceleration and crisp handling."

David C., NC (2013 Honda Fit)

"Expectedly for a small engine, sluggish to accelerate. Have to really "punch it" to get on freeways. However, zippy and fun on surface streets."

Dawn D., OH (2013 Honda Fit)

"The Honda Fit is easy to drive. It has enough power to merge onto the freeways. I had no trouble driving in snow. It handles well on gravel roads. It doesn’t have so much power that I drive too fast and get into trouble. It’s perfect for me."

Sue R., WA (2013 Honda Fit)

"Engine could use a bit more pep, but it is adequate and it handles nicely."

Steven L., NH (2013 Honda Fit)

"Agile handling, quick throttle response, excellent paddle-shift automatic transmission."

R S., SC (2013 Honda Fit)

"Acceleration is average, although it seems to work too hard getting up to highway speed. Handling is too touchy and suspension is too stiff."

Christian O., MI (2013 Honda Fit)

"great for parking in tight spots and making small-radius turns...usually enough acceleration when needed"

Anonymous, KS (2013 Honda Fit)

"Really fun to drive. Plenty of get up and go for most urban uses."

Anonymous, WA (2013 Honda Fit)

"This is the perfect little urban car for easy handling, especially parking. Good steering and braking, particularly. It's zippy enough for urban driving at 20 - 50 MPH, but the acceleration maxes out quickly on the highway, and there isn't much left when it's at 60. It will go faster, but sort creeps up on it. Oddly enough, the cruise control works great at highway speeds. Go figure."

Anonymous, LA (2013 Honda Fit)

"Handles well, small, easy to park."

Tom F., IL (2013 Honda Fit)

"great acceleration, but a bit noisy. Body is tinny, unlike the solid Civic"

Derek M., QC (2013 Honda Fit)

"Their are no complaints . Car does what I want it to do and handles well in all situation."

Barry W., PA (2013 Honda Fit)

"Very peppy, excellent handling and fun to drive."

Edward L., CA (2013 Honda Fit)

"The acceleration is excellent and the car climbs well."

Paula W., OR (2013 Honda Fit)

"The car is great fun to drive. Steering is quick and precise. Power is surprisingly good for a 1500 cc engine. I drive in the mountains a lot and I can always go up hills at or above the speed limit."

Kris B., AZ (2013 Honda Fit)

"If nothing else, the Fit has great acceleration, good for freeway driving."

Anonymous, CA (2013 Honda Fit)

"good accel, smooth ride"

Anonymous, BC (2013 Honda Fit)

"I can count on my Fit to leap into traffic when I need a quick response and accelerate swiftly to match the speed of the other cars."

James S., CA (2013 Honda Fit)

"I have the same standard, which I like to drive. It is not a powerful nor quiet car, but it does have zip if you need it (but it may sound as if it is about to pop)."

Ian R., PA (2013 Honda Fit)

"Large front windows makes for excellent visual of road. Steering and braking are excellent. Easy to park."

Anonymous, OR (2013 Honda Fit)

"It handles well and is zippy."

Julie S., CA (2013 Honda Fit)

"Acceleration in low gears can be less peppy than for many other cars. However, handling in any gear appears to be much easier than for most other cars."

Anonymous, FL (2013 Honda Fit)

"Has a clutch that is geared a bit high."

Anonymous, OR (2013 Honda Fit)

"It drives great. Very responsive and nimble. 0 to 60 in 8.2 is enough. I am happy in the car. The downside is at 2500 lbs curb weight and no independent rear suspension, the bumps come through."

Michael B., AR (2013 Honda Fit)

"The car is nimble and quick and the five speed manual is smooth and fun to use. A little more acceleration would be nice. Fun to drive."

Angus S., NY (2013 Honda Fit)

"Very functional vehicle for carrying gear"

Anonymous, PA (2013 Honda Fit)

"Fun and easy to drive around town"

Ruth W., SC (2013 Honda Fit)

"very peppy. good acceleration and handling."

Anonymous, MD (2013 Honda Fit)

"For an inexpensive car this little manual is a joy to drive. It accelerates well, turns sharply through corners and handles well in emergencies when responsiveness is required."

Anonymous, TX (2013 Honda Fit)

"Great turning ability. Lacks in the quick acceleration dept. Like the all around windows."

Aaron N., SC (2013 Honda Fit)

"Handling is excellent. Ride is not as smooth as I'd like."

Anonymous, NC (2013 Honda Fit)

"good acceleration with a stick shift and can make a good turn without backing up."

Pat Z., PA (2013 Honda Fit)

"Great visibility. Good acceleration for a sub-compact. Especially compare to Toyota, Nissan , Kiosa and Chevy"

Beverly G., OH (2013 Honda Fit)

"The fastest accelerating vehicle with automatic transition known to me."

Anonymous, WY (2013 Honda Fit)

"Weak on acceleration but handles well once it's going."

Glenn H., MD (2013 Honda Fit)

"Acceleration and engine power are not so hot. Going up hill is always a strain. I have to make sure there is extra room when merging into a faster moving lane on the freeway. Handling is fabulous. It is right there and feels somewhat like a sports car. But on the freeway, I have to hold tight to make sure that I don't over steer."

J G., CA (2013 Honda Fit)

Comfort

Includes seats, climate control, noise, and ride

What Owners Say

"Surprisingly big inside: ample headroom for a 6'4" driver; lots of storage space; and great visibility"

CHARLES B., WA (2013 Honda Fit)

"I'm not enthusiastic about the climate control. The heating of the feet area is poor. The air conditioner sucks up the power when I am going up a hill."

Anonymous, BC (2013 Honda Fit)

"it has great acceleration & braking .It is hard to keep in lane on the highway when then is a light wind.Car tends to roam . Road noise is terrible. At least radio is loud enough to compensate.A/C is cold at first but on a trip after a hour it tends to stop cooling. interior needs upgrading seats are cheap.door panels are some type of cardboard (?) with thin fabric glued on it most of interior won't clean up when dirtied"

ROBERT G., FL (2013 Honda Fit)

"Climate control is good. Ride is responsive but can be stiff. Road noise can be loud but since I usually travel alone I just turn up the audio. My biggest complaint is the driver's seat. It is not height adjustable and for extended drives (over an hour) the seat is hard on my butt. It's not very soft. I've bought a seat cushion for trips or longer drives which raises my seating position and adds cushioning."

DANIEL R., VA (2013 Honda Fit)

"I bought the more expensive Fit Sport model but one area of the interior is so cheap I feel I should order replacements to last the life of the car before they become unavailable. I am talking about the interior door panel with built in armrest. The armrest is so cheap I can feel it weakening and getting ready to crack under the cloth but the armrest is an integral part of the door panel and can't be replace separately. I wouldn't expect such a cheap armrest in a Honda except that in our previou"

Anonymous, NJ (2013 Honda Fit)

"I don't like how noisy it is. Too much road noise. I love how easy it is to put the back seats up and down. Visibility: great visibility EXCEPT one VERY BAD blind spot. In a way, it's bad that the overall visibility is so good that it's easy to forget the very bad blind spot."

MARYELLEN W., OR (2013 Honda Fit)

"The seat is small and lacks any place to rest your right arm. The car overall is great. But the seat could use some improvement in the comfort and cushioning, and the right arm rest should be considered."

GREGORY B., VA (2013 Honda Fit)

"Head rest is at an awkward angle forward. Road noise is quite high."

GERALD W., FL (2013 Honda Fit)

"Uncomfortable for a long trip."

Anonymous, PA (2013 Honda Fit)

"Overall, everything is fine. Air conditioning could be a bit better (or get things cool more quickly after starting up the car). Maybe this is a problem only in extremely hot weather (which we have every year, but recently it's been exceptionally hot outside)."

Anonymous, DC (2013 Honda Fit)

"There is NO middle arm rest in this FIT. It really needs one and I am not the only person that dislikes this about the FIT."

Anonymous, BC (2013 Honda Fit)

"The drivers seat is uncomfortable! Does not support my back so I don't care for the seats shape!"

Anonymous, DE (2013 Honda Fit)

"Good lumbar support, very little 'seat fatigue' on long drives, good air conditioning. On the other hand, fan noise is loud on highest setting, road noise is acceptable (easy to converse at high speed, suspension is a bit bouncy on rough roads."

Anonymous, CA (2013 Honda Fit)

"There is allot of road noise in the car. The seat is not height adjustable and the steering wheel tilt is limited, which makes it hard for me to see the top of the speedometer. The amount of windows is great, but on a hot sunny day the AC can barely keep up. The main windsheild post is a bad blind spot."

THOMAS B., VA (2013 Honda Fit)

"Front seat padding seems a little thin/unsupportive. Air conditioning cuts in and out (occasionally blowing warmish air), but keeps the car cool overall."

CHRISTOPHER L., PA (2013 Honda Fit)

"On a 4 hour trip air conditioning stopped working, this should not happen with a 3 year old car. Even though I had a warranty, out of town dealership charged $145 to add freon.. When I returned home took to my dealer and they could not find problem, but mentioned similar problem with another 2013 Fit. Don't want a car that has unreliable air, especially in TX"

STELLA L., TX (2013 Honda Fit)

"The volume of cargo space and ease of loading when the rear seats are folded flat"

Anonymous, IL (2013 Honda Fit)

"Incredible road noise. I wear ear plugs and turn the volume up in order to listen to radio or CD."

Anonymous, OR (2013 Honda Fit)

"A little noisy. But the front windows have a tendency to fog in all types of weather"

JAMES R., PA (2013 Honda Fit)

"The seats are not the most comfortable especially for long distance driving. But my biggest complaint is the steering wheel. It's shape and size make if uncomfortable for my hands. It's too big and oddly shaped. When I am driving long distances I'm constantly flexing my hands to relieve the strain on them. I don't think my hands are exceptionally small but that steering wheel seems way to big."

Anonymous, AZ (2013 Honda Fit)

"Visibility is outstanding - windows are large and make the small car seem much roomier. However, sun visors are entirely inadequate - way too short to block sun coming in from a side window. Climate control - air conditioning is a bit weak. Because the air flow cycles with the use of the accelerator, the car will not cool down when driving in city traffic. At highway speeds, it works well if somewhat slowly."

CHARLES P., IL (2013 Honda Fit)

"Air conditioning is weak on very hot days."

HOLT D., NC (2013 Honda Fit)

"My wife says the car is too small to be safe."

Anonymous, UT (2013 Honda Fit)

"The head rest forces your head more forward than natural alignment"

BILL E., PA (2013 Honda Fit)

"The head rests force one's head forward (which according to dealer is by law). This was immediately uncomfortable and lead to neck and shoulder problems until I added a fairly thick foam pillow to sit straighter."

Anonymous, FL (2013 Honda Fit)

"The only thing that I don't like is that the interior is black. It gets too hot since we live in Southern Calif. On long drives the seats are not real comfortable."

Anonymous, CA (2013 Honda Fit)

"A little bit noisy, but not to the point that it interferes with audio or conversation,. Seats are adequate even for long journeys, but not the most luxurious. Climate control is going."

Anonymous, ON (2013 Honda Fit)

"My Honda Fit is quite noisy inside."

VALERIE C., VA (2013 Honda Fit)

"We were surprised how much room is inside. Both front and back passengers have plenty of room. Also loke the convertibility of the back seat for carrying items (the seat can be folded up for taker items or down for longer items). Clever use of space for a smaller car."

Anonymous, CA (2013 Honda Fit)

Anonymous, TX (2013 Honda Fit)

"A/C is very weak. Complained several times. It takes 20 minutes to cool the car."

CHARLES V., IL (2013 Honda Fit)

"DIFFICULT ENTRY AND EXIT. POOR ERGONOMICS BREAK AND GAS PEDALS ARE TOO CLOSE AND TOO MUCH ALIKE. EASY TO HIT THE WRONG ONE, OR TO HIT BOTH AT ONCE"

Anonymous, IL (2013 Honda Fit)

MARK C., TX (2013 Honda Fit)

"Lack of driver right hand arm rest is uncomfortable"

JAMES V., NC (2013 Honda Fit)

JAMES B., MO (2013 Honda Fit)

"I live in northeast Florida. For our summers, the ac is underpowered. This car has much glass, which means it heats up very fast in the Florida sun."

LARRY A., FL (2013 Honda Fit)

"It's a little noisey, and the shocks are a little stiff so bumps are BUMPY."

Anonymous, PA (2013 Honda Fit)

"Ride is noisy perhaps because of insulation factors. Ride is rough--feel every detail of road defects. Seat is so low that it is difficult to see over the end of the hood. For both short and tall drivers. We bought a stick shift because the dealer told us we couldn't tow an automatic (later learned this was wrong information). Not happy!"

Anonymous, AZ (2013 Honda Fit)

"This vehicle is incredibly noisy. There is so much road noise that, depending on the road surface, it can be difficult to listen to music or carry on a conversation. While I understand that there are partial remedies to this, they tend to be complicated and/or expensive."

Anonymous, CO (2013 Honda Fit)

"Wonderful seats for tall folks like me. I like the chair like position. The ride noise is not the best especially on our poorly maintained roads. I really like the size and functionality of the Fit. Great visibility and handling for someone who is not a NASCAR driver."

R C., OH (2013 Honda Fit)

"The seats are quite poor and back support isn't very good. We use cushioned seats to elevate us so we get better lumbar support. The vehicle road noise is rather loud as well"

Anonymous, HI (2013 Honda Fit)

"I'm short (just over 5'), so its important that I can reach the pedals and steering wheel without having to sit very close. the seats are comfortable to me. I also like how the back seat head rests fit inside the seat, allowing for a wider view through the rear view mirror."

Anonymous, PA (2013 Honda Fit)

"Great deal of space in a small car, tall people are happy in it. Rear headrests are a little balky but it's very nice that they go down fully when no-one is back there so as not to block the rearward view. Very flexible spacious interior which can carry a ton. We use ours for towing a small sailboat trailer (though not recommended by Honda, it is recommended worldwide for the equivalent "Jazz") and that has been great also."

Anonymous, NY (2013 Honda Fit)

"Seats provide adequate support, but can be uncomfortable on longer rides. There is an annoying wind throbbing/buffeting whenever the rear-seat windows are open."

Anonymous, CT (2013 Honda Fit)

"-Good visibility -Need at least two windows open or there is an extra sound from the way the air travels -I like the support and fit of the driver seat -acceptable interior noise level with windows up. I'm happy. Radio volume setting around 5 - 15. More volume needed with windows open. -I'm happy with the ride. Smooth on most road surfaces"

Terri W., FL (2013 Honda Fit)

"After sitting in my Honda Fit for 15 minutes, my entire body aches. The seats are very hard and lack support. The headrests in the back row are very difficult to get up, but when they are not fully up they jab into your back, making for a very uncomfortable ride. Noise is average. The ride is bumpy - you feel everything the car goes over on the road."

I want something heavier and more stable, especially on highways, higher off the ground, and much quieter. Probably going for a smaller SUV or crossover to get the height I need due to living in an area of frequent, curb high, street flooding."

"Honda's updated version of the Fit scooted the back seat back an additional 4 inches into the trunk section, increasing the back seat leg room, which I like. What I don't like, and what has kept me from buying the new Fit is that it no longer has the two cup holders built into the dash. They should not have done away with this convenience."

"The seats are not comfortable for longer periods. Once when I pulled a muscle I was even more aware of this. After the 30 min drive home I couldn't wait to get out of the car. I dislike the USB aux being in the globe box. When things fall between the center console and seat it is painful trying to retrieve the straw or whatever because my hand doesn't fit. I have put insulating foam in between to prevent items falling down there. Be nice if side door pockets on front doors was a little deeper. Hard to put even a standard sized folder in there"

Aaron N., SC (2013 Honda Fit)

"Noisy until I got new tires (Michelin rain tires) Seats reasonably comfortable; driver’s seat quite comfortable Stiff ride but feels safe"

Judith S., CA (2013 Honda Fit)

"Driver's seat is not adjustable enough; had to add cushions."

Bernard L., WI (2013 Honda Fit)

"Very firm ride - not comfortable for some people."

John W., TX (2013 Honda Fit)

What Owners Say

"Perfect economy car."

DIANE E., OR (2013 Honda Fit)

"Good gas mileage, low maintenance cost. The one caveat is that the stock tires from Honda, the Dunlops, are terrible, terrible, terrible. On a replacement tire with less than 10K, we had a potentially fatal wall separation on the tires. Why Honda puts such low-quality tires on this car, I couldn't tell you. But it spoils what is generally a very good experience."

Anonymous, TX (2013 Honda Fit)

"It is an inexpensive car, easy to park, reliable, good gas mileage I wish I had the newer model with backup navigation. I love the style and how flat the back seats can be when folded down. Lots of storage room."

Anonymous, NV (2013 Honda Fit)

"I feel I was mistaken to purchase this item new from the dealer. I had to finance a purchase price that 2 years later is not worthy of the car. However I do not feel I can trust used car purchasing because I don't have a "car smart" contact in my circle of friends & acquaintances. I should not have to pay 263.00 per month for 43 more months. The dealer that sold it to me only appraised it for 9,100.00 on 7/15/16."

Anonymous, NC (2013 Honda Fit)

"I am very happy with the gas mileage and overall versatility of this car."

Anonymous, CA (2013 Honda Fit)

"Price wise, it gets good gas millage, does not need to be in garage a lot. Seats fold down for extra storage. Over all an econy car."

Anonymous, MD (2013 Honda Fit)

"It seems to hold its value well, and for the price I got a great little car. It certainly was the best ride for the price when I was looking for a new car."

Anonymous, CA (2013 Honda Fit)

"For the price, you can't beat this car. It is my around-town vehicle and is perfect in that role."

Anonymous, CO (2013 Honda Fit)

"Cost of auto was very reasonable; mileage is a bonus when it comes to cost of gasoline."

DONNA G., PA (2013 Honda Fit)

"YOU GET MAXIMUM QUALITY FOR YOUR EXPENSE."

Anonymous, CA (2013 Honda Fit)

"It has never needed mechanical repairs. MPG is good, I recommend it to friends."

CHARLES C., AZ (2013 Honda Fit)

"At the time of purchase, gas prices were very high and going higher each week. We wanted a vehicle that would provide inexpensive transportation to and from work. It is not used for pleasure or long drives since it does not provide for a quiet and comfortable ride."

Anonymous, NJ (2013 Honda Fit)

"Amazing value!"

SAM L., ON (2013 Honda Fit)

"Model style was being updated for 2015...dealer wanted to move out older models"

TOM P., MA (2013 Honda Fit)

"I bought the car because it was affordable and had enough space in it to haul everything I needed to my art shows. It is a tight fit but does work. As far as I'm concerned it would be a good car for city driving but it isn't the best for highway long distance driving. It could have better brakes too. All that said for the price it is a good car with lots of room for hauling stuff and the mileage is generally really good."

Anonymous, AZ (2013 Honda Fit)

"It's a great value. We get fantastic mileage and it moves."

Anonymous, CA (2013 Honda Fit)

"feel i was overcharged for vehicle. i bought at end of model year, december 2013, but was charged the same price my sister got (in another state) for the same vehicle (make, model, year) almost a year earlier when the 2013 honda fit first came out at her dealer's showroom. vehicle should have cost less since it was an end-of-the-model-year vehicle."

BURDETTE C., NJ (2013 Honda Fit)

BRENDA L., SC (2013 Honda Fit)

"Great car. 2nd Fit we have owned. Both great cars"

R C., OH (2013 Honda Fit)

"Great car for our purpose, second utility vehicle. inexpensive to own and operate and , so far, very reliable."

Ed K., PA (2013 Honda Fit)

"Value for the car is fine, low cost to run, not fun to drive."

Joel S., MA (2013 Honda Fit)

"Fit is a great value for what it is -- basic transportation car and under powered when needing to pass other cars and change lanes going up steep grades."

William K., CA (2013 Honda Fit)

"Exceptional car. Has given us very little trouble in near 100,000 miles. Downside: paint scratches so easily. But that’s minor compared to its reliability."

Anonymous, IL (2013 Honda Fit)

"Reliability excellent alrhough 2 recalls on airbags Very poor paint job that scraped up immediately. And upholstery showed everything and hard to clean. Even with the Sport model that had 16‿ wheels the car bottoms out on dips and parking lot bumpers"

Judith S., CA (2013 Honda Fit)

"Good urban driving vehicle, with flexible cargo space. Great gas milage."

George P., MN (2013 Honda Fit)

"A very good purchase value for the money, less than $18K. Car has very good reliability so far, which helps make it a good value. It's also getting good MPG, about 36, for all driving, which also increases its value for the money."

Glenn H., MD (2013 Honda Fit)

"Great car for the money. Reliable, fun to drive Considering all the short trips it gets good gas mileage. Great visibility. Ony maintenance is oil changes. Only complaint is trhe cheap orginal equipment tires."

Beverly G., OH (2013 Honda Fit)

"gas mileage, stick shift - has lots of xxxxx - fits anywhere and fits almost everything from kayak to bicycle for outdoor use"

Pat Z., PA (2013 Honda Fit)

"Cargo flexibilty and utility: 57 cubic ft with seats down, two 55 lb dogs in tall mode, it’s a Tardis. ... ... Fun: steering, torque/sensation-of-propulsion, chassis and visibility are all highlights ... ... Overall experience: enhanced by $1000 leather installed at purchase (via dealer approved installer). For $19k (including all fees/taxes + leather installation + window tint) I got a nice car. ... ... The bad I do not consider bad because it is a subcompact. When I drive 1200 miles in 2 days I do not arrive refreshed. When I am on a cloudless highway in the summer, the a/c cannot keep the car cool as I want it. But the total package for the money is unbeatable. Today I might’ve considered the Civic Sport (not available in 2013) but if I installed leather and tint after taxes and fees that’s $5k more and a loss of 11 cubic feet storage. I am very satisfied with my Fit!"

Michael B., AR (2013 Honda Fit)

"This car is perfect in the urban environment. Small footprint, fuel efficient, tons of room inside, all for an incredibly reasonable price."

Craig F., WI (2013 Honda Fit)

"Bought the base model that does not have keyless entry. We have gone through 3 sets of keys and replaced several door and rear-hatch locks. Key seems to wear down easily through use and then needs to be replaced(almost every 15 months, and we are low-mileage drivers) about every 12000-15000 km."

Anonymous, ON (2013 Honda Fit)

"For the price you cant beat the Honda Fit, its reliable, fun to drive, looks good, and economical."

Eric T., NY (2013 Honda Fit)

"spark plug coil failure at 60,000 miles. I have always kept the manufacturers recommended maintenance schedule. Now facing an $8000 cylinder head replacement at 68,000 miles. Very disappointed that car did not last longer."

Anonymous, PA (2013 Honda Fit)

"It is noisy, like all of the reviews say."

Anonymous, IL (2013 Honda Fit)

"Having paid $15,750, this vehicle has proved to be a bargain. It has been reliable and as things stand nowadays, only a couple of recalls, so pretty few. It handles well and has more than enough interior room for my needs. The first vehicle that I've never been dissatisfied with in any real way."

Anonymous, TX (2013 Honda Fit)

"Sport styling actually make this less zippy take off compared to the base model. Otherwise, excellent value, flexible use, all folds down, seats lift up to store taller things. Holds value so well that Honda constantly tries to convince me to trade up so they can sell it again."

Edward M., MA (2013 Honda Fit)

"You get a car with excellent reliability and lots of internal space for the class."

Angus S., NY (2013 Honda Fit)

"For little cost I have a very reliable fun vehicle that is capable of carrying my bicycle without even taking my front wheel off."

Sam L., ON (2013 Honda Fit)

"Other cars may look better, handle better, get better gas mileage and haul more things, but the Honda Fit does all of the above creditably well....Sure it is a compromise, but you also get reliability and save a ton of money over many other vehicles."

Marc A., CA (2013 Honda Fit)

"Extremely reliable. Inexpensive ride with respect to maintenance and fuel economy. I do get compliments on the car's appearance."

Anonymous, PA (2013 Honda Fit)

"I only paid $16,000 and have had it five years. That seems like good value to me. I would have preferred to keep it longer but the car is starting to have issues."

Anonymous, CA (2013 Honda Fit)

"For your money, you get a well-engineered automobile that seldom needs more than routine maintenance -- at least for the first five years (the age of my Fit). Filling the gas tank is less expensive that it is for most cars. Finding a large-enough parking space is usually easy. And, you get a distinctive-looking car that brings a smile to some people's faces."

Anonymous, FL (2013 Honda Fit)

"lots of room, reliable"

Anonymous, TN (2013 Honda Fit)

"The car satisfies my needs as fully as SUVs that cost twice as much. I get good gas mileage and can fold down the rear seats whenever I need more room to carry luggage or puechases"

Anonymous, NY (2013 Honda Fit)

"This car is beast for me. It gets really good gas mileage and due to the configurable seats, I can haul just about anything that will fit through the hatch or doors. All for less than 20 grand!"

Daniel C., TN (2013 Honda Fit)

"Five years, 73,000 miles, and I've done nothing but tires, gas, oil, two regular maintenance visits, and a free recall part replacement. Yet, it runs just as good as the first day."

"For 16K there's cruise control, five passengers, full warranty extended to eight years, electric windows with child lockout, automatic locks, CD player, what my mechanic says is head-and-shoulders the best repair record of any make he services, which includes Mercedes Benz and BMW, and finally fabulous fold-up back seats that makes carrying certain large objects so much more convenient than the more standard hatchback option, also available with this care, of folding down the seats and dealing with seatbelts, latches, and cargo screen."

Reginadl G., AZ (2013 Honda Fit)

"It's small, efficient, practical, reliable, and maneuverable."

Tom F., IL (2013 Honda Fit)

"The price is reasonable, but more important there have been no mechanical problems with the car. It is reliable, inexpensive to operate, and an excellent city car. I have driven it on trips up to 900 miles round trip and it has performed well. However, it is not as comfortable for long trips."

Margaret T., VA (2013 Honda Fit)

William K., CA (2013 Honda Fit)

"good gas mileage, minimum routine expenses forget you are in a small car"

Ellen B., VA (2013 Honda Fit)

"It is an excellent entry level modern vehicle. Best part is filling up at the gas pump. With small wheels ride can be bumpy however acceleration is good and maintains highway speeds comfortably. Nimble and fits into tight spots. Excellent city vehicle. Trunk is perfect for groceries I wish manual transmission was also offered It had been very reliable normal wear on tires brakes and few light bulbs change all acceptable. My son is having a ball with it. He call it having a Tardus effect. Looks small on the outside big and comfortable inside."

N G., NJ (2013 Honda Fit)

"for the money, good value. Not best ride, but is OK"

Donald W., TX (2013 Honda Fit)

Styling

How it looks inside and out

What Owners Say

"Everybody is shaping like the Prius. I don't like that shape. And the fit looks like a little bus. The Chevy hatch backs are much sportier and cute. Hate the material on the seats as it collects hair and lint and won't let go."

KAREN S., MI (2013 Honda Fit)

"great"

CHARLES-LINDA R., OH (2013 Honda Fit)

"Interior flexibility for cargo area with rear seats folding down or seat bottom folding up. Much more flexible room than any other car in its class."

Anonymous, FL (2013 Honda Fit)

"It is very roomy for a car of its size. I find Hondas to be well designed and this is no exception. Very versatile for carrying boxes or people. Lots of door pockets. Love the cup holder in the dash. Great visibility."

Anonymous, VA (2013 Honda Fit)

"The interior styling is sort of egg shaped. As a result all of the controls are angled away from the driver. I do like the visibility, but that means the car heats up fast in the Florida sun. The car also seems to have a high center of gravity, which can be scary sometimes."

LARRY A., FL (2013 Honda Fit)

"It seems almost classic in styling and doesn't go out of style."

NICHOLAS C., TX (2013 Honda Fit)

"I am not a fan of the exterior style of the Fit (the Mazda3 is much more appealing to me), but I am a fan of the interior - especially the mid area storage space and the amount of visibility I have around me as the driver."

Anonymous, BC (2013 Honda Fit)

W K., CA (2013 Honda Fit)
