A plush, quiet, and roomy interior helps place the QX60 among the serious players in the luxury SUV category and fills a gaping hole in Infiniti's lineup. This three-row crossover is powered by a smooth 265-hp, V6 engine mated to a continuously variable transmission. Our all-wheel-drive QX60 returned 19 mpg overall on premium fuel, slightly above par for the category.

Overall Owner Satisfaction

Consumer Reports’ Annual Owner Satisfaction Survey can improve the chances of finding a compatible car match. How? Our survey data reveals whether, all things considered, owners would buy the same car again. The answer to that question is what determines our owner-satisfaction rating, which is a powerful piece of intel because it predicts how well a particular model will satisfy other owners.

Overall Owner Satisfaction

Owner Satisfaction with:

Driving Experience

Includes acceleration and handling

What Owners Say

"It has more acceleration than similar sized SUVs we test drove and handles well for a vehicle it's size."

Anonymous, IA (2017 Infiniti QX60)

"Amazing handling for an SUV. Great cornering."

Andrew S., TX (2017 Infiniti QX60)

"New car to me....but thus far: great handling, quick powerful acceleration, nice features with driver in mind. Has Eco drive, Sport Drive etc.so will give those a whirl."

Anonymous, CA (2017 Infiniti QX60)

"Acceleration seems weak due to CVT transmission"

Allison P., NJ (2017 Infiniti QX60)

"No power in economy mode."

Anonymous, FL (2017 Infiniti QX60)

"very comfortable for long trips"

David D., NY (2017 Infiniti QX60)

"Extremely smooth drive with plenty of power."

Anonymous, PA (2017 Infiniti QX60)

"responsive and handles bumps with ease and does not jolt the passengers around."

Dave H., TX (2017 Infiniti QX60)

"Acceleration is strong particular on the sport setting. Handling is consistent and nimble"

Anonymous, TX (2017 Infiniti QX60)

"The handling and acceleration are excellent, as long as you are in Sport mode. Standard mode is a bit lethargic and Eco mode is a joke. I would only use Eco mode if I was almost out of gas and nowhere near a gas station."

John S., TN (2017 Infiniti QX60)

"Unimpressive acceleration for a vehicle of this price"

Moshe M., NJ (2017 Infiniti QX60)

"Nice acceleration. Nice handling for such a large vehicle. The all wheel drive is very good. It seems to be front wheel biased. Not as good as Acura MDX super handling AWD."

John M., PA (2017 Infiniti QX60)

"The big positive on this car for driving is the variable automatic transmission. With cruise control engaged and traveling through hilly terrain you don't get that constant shifting up and down that you have with the standard automatic transmissions. This transmission is variable eliminating the constant up and down gear shifting. Plus it is very quiet and rides wonderfully."

Craig O., TX (2017 Infiniti QX60)

"This vehicle drives beautifully. It handles well and has all the power you want from a suv. My only complaint is the controls on the wheel and dash I find confusing or hard to see. It is all there once you figure out how to use it."

Vincent S., FL (2017 Infiniti QX60)

Comfort

Includes seats, climate control, noise, and ride

What Owners Say

"Overall, the QX60 has a very good ride and the seats are comfortable. The noise level is excellent except when accelerating quickly. The engine growls to life a bit noisily."

John S., TN (2017 Infiniti QX60)

"The seats are very comfortable. But the ride is little better than our GMC 4-wheel drive truck. The transmission is continuously variable and the car sometimes has that droning noise common to vehicles with that type transmission."

James M., OK (2017 Infiniti QX60)

"the seats are firm and have nice side bolsters. Road noise is extremely low."

Dave H., TX (2017 Infiniti QX60)

"This is an amazing vehicle to ride in. Very impressive interior with qquality you feel as you enter. The ride and quietness impress as well."

Vincent S., FL (2017 Infiniti QX60)

"While we have been very pleased with the reliability of the 2009 MDX, it has a firmer ride and the acceleration is a bit soft for a 300 HP vehicle. Also the backup camera is a bit dim. I had a 2008 TL, and the back up cam was much clearer and brighter than on the MDX. We did address the camera issue with the dealer, and they told us it was as good as we were going to get. That is the major disappointment with the car. The 2017 Infiniti QX60 has a great ride and better acceleration. Over all we really like the QX60 , but time will tell if it is as durable as the MDX. It is a quieter ride than the MDX, but it is a much newer vehicle. While the Acura dealership's service department was was very good, the Infiniti dealer's service department is EXCELLENT."

Jimmy M., TX (2017 Infiniti QX60)

"Very noisy due to CVT transmission. Ride is very bouncy and rough on uneven road"

Anonymous, TX (2017 Infiniti QX60)

"Very quiet, very comfortable"

Terry G., FL (2017 Infiniti QX60)

"Great smooth ride but not boat like like many others large SUV’s. Owned an Acura MDX which has a more compliant suspension where you feel the road much more than the QX60. I enjoy the QX50 ride much more. The 2nd row has a lot of room for large adults along with reclining seats. The drivers and passenger seats are comfortable, roomy and accommodate large and tall people. Very happy."

John M., PA (2017 Infiniti QX60)

"very quiet interior and excellent seats"

Anonymous, AB (2017 Infiniti QX60)

Value

Did you get what you wanted relative to the price you paid?

What Owners Say

"Just purchased a loaded QX60. Still learning all its features. I feel like I got a lot for my money. Love the Bose sound system navigation, and entertainment system."

Anonymous, IA (2017 Infiniti QX60)

"Certain features such as blind spot monitoring is not even included with the upgraded level that we purchased. It’s a shame people now have it standard in a Honda Civic. Very upsetting"

Moshe M., NJ (2017 Infiniti QX60)

"We bought the car for a reasonable price, but I am disappointed in its gas mileage, especially since it requires premium gas. But, it is my wife’s car and she loves everything about it."

James M., OK (2017 Infiniti QX60)

"Compared to other imported SUVs considered to be in a "luxury" category, I believe that we received a lot of solid value for the amount we spent which was considerably lower than German vehicles for example."

Anonymous, NY (2017 Infiniti QX60)
