"bearing noise require engine to be replaced"Anonymous, CA (2019 Kia Niro Electric EX Electric)
"It's been a while, but the engine needed to be replaced when it was only around 5 months old. Then the breaks gave us problems, then the coolant system and the leaks along with the smell. What we got was a lemon for a car. An attorney firm said that if we have one more problem, then we can have Kia take it back. I wished we had never got it. Not only those problems, but the seats are the most uncomfortable seats there are. You can't drive but twenty miles, and you feel like you have to get out and stretch. I have told others that you don't want a Kia. We had to take it in several times (each time) until they would do anything about it. It did not stop on the road, but the lights came on and made both of us feel very uncomfortable driving any distance in the vehicle. They said you could have driven maybe 50 miles until it would have stopped on you. What, that didn't make to much sense to me. They made it seem that it was okay for the engine to catch fire or locking upon us before we brought it in. This Kia dealership is not friendly, the service area is always dirty, and they just don't seem to care. They did replace the engine. They replaced the breaks and the coolant system. But we still don't trust the car. We had a Ford C-Max prior, and if Ford would have continued with it, we would have gotten another one. We loved it. We hate this Kia. take care, stay safe and keep healthy"Anonymous, (2019 Kia Niro Electric Unsure Electric)
