2009 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Owner Satisfaction - Consumer Reports
The C300 Sport is a capable car and was more competitively priced than the 2001-2007 model it replaces. Quick and refined, braking performance is excellent, but the steering is overly light and feels out of place in a sport sedan. The taut suspension translates into a stiffer ride than many competing models.

Consumer Reports’ Annual Owner Satisfaction Survey can improve the chances of finding a compatible car match. How? Our survey data reveals whether, all things considered, owners would buy the same car again. PATRICK C., FL (2009 Mercedes-Benz C-Class)

"Acceleration, braking, cornering, feel of road - this is an excellent handling vehicle. At nearly 8 years old, still looks and drives like new and not a single major problem encountered. Highly underrated and most definitely a great value compared to other cars in its class (BMW, Audi, etc.)."

"Acceleration, sporty feel, great styling."

C L., CA (2009 Mercedes-Benz C-Class)

Includes seats, climate control, noise, and ride

What Owners Say

"Seat becomes uncomfortable after a few hours driving. Seat seams separated on the driver side. Ride is quite good and noise is fine unless on a rough road."

"Like the vented seat. Noise level in the back seat feel like Door not close"

Pierre B., FL (2009 Mercedes-Benz C-Class)

"The seats are incredibly comfortable, both front and rear. There is also minimal road noise inside the cabin, although the blue tooth does seem to amplify what little there is."

GARY M., MO (2009 Mercedes-Benz C-Class)

"Car looks great drives great couldn't be happier with it."

LARRY O., CA (2009 Mercedes-Benz C-Class)

Did you get what you wanted relative to the price you paid?

What Owners Say

"You get zippy performance, and a really solid ride (not particularly soft though). An all-around nice driving car that likely punches above its weight considering price. No major repairs in 8 years is part of the value. You also get charged quite a bit for regular maintenance. Alloy wheels pretty beat up over the years and driver seat bottom upholstery split at 100,00 km."

Randall D., MB (2009 Mercedes-Benz C-Class)

"The service and repair costs post warranty period are very high."

Anonymous, CA (2009 Mercedes-Benz C-Class)

How it looks inside and out

What Owners Say

"It stands out in a crowd very sporty."

LARRY O., CA (2009 Mercedes-Benz C-Class)

"Awesome! People still stare at my car. It's a beautiful, stylish car, sporty car, but most of all, the interior is luxurious and not "sporty" like the new cars."
