2020 Porsche Cayenne Coupe
Ratings & Reliability
The Cayenne Coupe expands Porsche's SUV line with a model variant whose curved rear roofline is reminiscent of the BMW X6 and Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe. The front roof edge is also lower, contributing the lean, sportier appearance. A panoramic roof is standard, and there is a lighter-weight carbon-fiber roof option. The Coupe has an adaptive rear spoiler that can extend several inches at highway speeds to aid aerodynamics. The base engine is a 335-hp, 3.0-liter turbocharged V6. The Turbo Coupe employs a 541-hp, 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. Like the regular Cayenne, we expect the Cayenne Coupe to be highly engaging to drive, with sharp handling and rapid acceleration. Changes for 2020 include a new Turbo S E-Hybrid model, which produces 670-horsepower developed between a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and an electric motor. There’s also a milder E-Hybrid version, which has a 3.0-liter single-turbo V6 and electric motor, putting out 455 horsepower.
