The Camry proved capable, quiet and well rounded in all test versions, but not exciting to drive. Handling is sound, though not sporty. Ride quality is comfortable and the interior is roomy. While all powertrains are refined and economical, the V6 XLE is very quick and the Hybrid combines good performance with great fuel economy.

"The Camry front seat appears to be a little higher than the Honda Accord front seat, and therefore I prefer the Camry."

CHARLES B., WA (2007 Toyota Camry)

"I am short, with short legs. When the seat is adjusted for height, the seatbelt chokes me in the neck. I need to sit further back or tilt further back than I would like."

Anonymous, FL (2007 Toyota Camry)

"This is a V6 xle. It's acceleration and handling have been very satisfactory. I don't need to worry that it is going to let me down while passing or needing extra power in other stretches. It gets up to a rapid speed in a seemingly effortless manner. It has a very comfortable smooth ride."

Anonymous, AB (2007 Toyota Camry)

"Leather seats are comfortable, heated, provide adequate support. The climate controls are dual zone with controls on the steering wheel which is very convenient. When I am stopped at a stop light, the A/C fan increases to provide additional cooling - nice touch. The ride was very comfortable. However I replaced the struts and springs with aftermarket strut/spring assemblies, and they provide a less than comfortable ride feel. The car accelerates great, but the handling is not sufficient, especia"

Anonymous, IL (2007 Toyota Camry)

"I'm taller... 6'3". Would like the fit to be a little different. Right knee is constantly on the left side of the console when cruising. Anonymous, OK (2007 Toyota Camry)

"I drove my car in the Sonoran Desert where I live (Tucson) 11 weeks before the A/C was properly fixed. At first, it worked intermittently. When I took it to the dealer, they told me (after a two-hour wait) that they couldn't find anything wrong with it. A week or so later, I was driving in temps as high as 109 with no A/C at all. The dealer ultimately replaced the A/C compressor at a cost of $1700. Otherwise, it's been a pretty good car for me."

"the pressed board section covering the front underside of vehicle for noise reduction only lasted a couple of years, and then the holes got too big for the bolts. It would fall down in the front and on backing up, scoop up any stones, etc. eventually had it removed. They wanted $250 for a new board, not worth it, so I left it off."

"This car was my first new car purchase. I went with the Camry based on it being Motor Trend's 2007 Car of the Year. I also read over reviews on CR. I know Toyota makes a quality vehicle, and considered the Honda Accord also. At the time of purchase, the end of March 2007, I was able to get a good deal on the car since I lived in a mostly truck/SUV market. I have not had any major issues with my Camry.
