The shifting can be delayed through acceleration but not in a very predictable or efficient manner. The manual shift mode isn't really designed for manual shifting from a standing start, it's more for downshifting at highway speeds. To get it into first gear, you have to switch to manual then shift down 3 times."

"My Camry is still a good car, but Toyota really has cheaped out on the interior. My model is an XLE and it used to have several wood-grained accents. With my 2015 Camry XLE though, there is only a single wood-grained accent next to the glove box. The chrome accents in the interior seem more now to be just silver tin instead of being coated in chrome.."
