The next week I took the car to a local independent repair shop and got a new (90 cent) light bulb put in in about 10 minutes - my cost: $10 and a loaf of blueberry bread (the repairman was a friend of the family. I had had satisfactory service done at Victory Toyota since I bought the car. This time there was a new service manager. I am never going back there again. I did complain to the Better Business Bureau."

That's not all, you have to remove the front bumper & fender and other things to change the light bulb. I changed it and it didn't work, so I took it to the dealer. The dealer put another new bulb in it for 150.00 plus labor for a total of 279.00. For a headlight!? A month later the other headlight burnt out. Never again will I ever buy a Prius. I'm 64, when I was younger you go to the auto parts store, pay 2.50 for a headlight & install it yourself in 5 minutes."
