Angela Lashbrook is a reporter at Consumer Reports who focuses on issues that impact people’s budgets. Angela has worked in the media in various roles for seven years. She came to CR from Medium, where she was a founding columnist for the technology publication OneZero covering the intersection of wellness and technology. Angela has also written extensively on health, tech, and millennial work life for publications including The Atlantic, Vox, Slate, and Refinery29. Among the topics she has covered are the ways AI-driven dermatology hurts patients of color, the reasons fitness trackers are bad for kids, and the anxieties of using an office restroom. In her spare time, she enjoys reading novels, cooking, and hanging out with her dog, a Libra named Gordo.
Angela holds a Bachelor of Arts from the California College of the Arts.
