Mary Greene is the senior policy counsel for CR’s sustainability policy team.

She has more than a decade of experience practicing environmental law and policy. Before coming to CR, Mary served as the National Wildlife Federation’s public lands attorney.  She advocated for the restoration, conservation, and protection of public lands while she was at NWF.

Mary also has extensive experience working in the federal government as counsel for both the Department of Interior and the Department of Energy.

Mary holds a master’s degree in environmental management from Duke University and a law degree from Georgetown University.  She is based in Washington, D.C.
