At the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, RCA showed off a sound bar home theater system that might improve the audio from your HDTV—and connect your entertainment set to the Internet.

The new RCA Wi-Fi Home Theater Sound Bar, about $250, has a speaker bar and wireless sub-woofer that also connects to a home's WiFi network to deliver streaming movies and videos from services such as Netflix and Hulu. (A version with a wired bass speaker unit will also be available for about $50 less.)

Watch our video of the RCA Streaming Soundbar and see Consumer Reports Buying guide to Home theater systems for more information on finding the best home audio system for your needs.
