Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7.0 SM-T280 (8GB) tablet

A smaller tablet from Samsung with a 7-inch screen and running on the Android 5.1.1 operating system at time of test. The Google Play Store and Galaxy Apps is included for downloading additional apps. Tested with 8GB of storage.


The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7.0 SM-T280 (8GB) is part of the Tablet test program at Consumer Reports. In our lab tests, Tablet models like the Galaxy Tab A 7.0 SM-T280 (8GB) are rated on multiple criteria, such as those listed below.

Resolution Resolution The pixel dimensions of the screen, length by width. Combined with the screen size, this determines the pixel density, which is the true measure of the ability to display image detail.
