Memorial Day weekend is a great time to find a discount on a big-ticket purchase, and Best Buy is one of the top places to shop. They've got sales to match those you'll find at Home Depot and Lowe's, including discounts and bundle deals on large appliances as well as savings on vacuums and small appliances. But Best Buy also has savings opportunities on TVs and tech devices.
As most Americans are still under stay-at-home orders, and many who aren't may not want to risk exposure to COVID-19, online shopping is probably the best bet. You may be able to arrange for curbside pickup at a nearby brick-and-mortar location if you don't want to wait for direct delivery. If you do decide to shop in a store, consider wearing a mask and employ basic infection control practices.

Everything in this list has been tested in CR's labs and proved to be worthwhile, and in some cases, Best Buy's price may be slightly higher than other retailers. Insignia French-Door Refrigerator
This Insignia is perfect for shoppers interested in French-door fridges without the premium price tag. Priced lower than many side-by-sides and bottom-freezers, this Insignia French-door comes in a stainless steel finish with an internal water dispenser, icemaker, half shelves for better organization, spillproof shelves, and digital controls. It earns high scores in our tests, runs quietly, and is very energy efficient. The only thing it’s missing is a through-the-door dispenser, but at this price you might be okay passing up that feature.

Bosch Ascenta 24-Inch Dishwasher
The combination of superior performance and features that more commonly appear on pricier washers make this entry-level Bosch a great value, especially since it's usually $700. Best Buy's price is less than $1 more than Home Depot's, so you can choose whichever retailer has a more convenient store for curbside pickup, if you want. This washer has a 95-minute cycle for a normal wash, among the shortest of any washer that CR tests. On CR surveys, owners give Bosch dishwashers top marks for reliability and satisfaction.

Frigidaire Single-Oven Slide-In Range
With design cues clearly taken from pro-style ranges, this Frigidaire costs thousands less, thanks in part to Memorial Day savings of around $500. It also performs as well as or better than plenty of the true pro-style ranges in our ratings, and it has plenty of features, including five burners, continuous cooking grates for easily moving pots and pans across the burners, and a storage drawer.

Sony 55-Inch OLED Smart TV
This is already the lowest-priced Sony OLED TV you will find. It originally cost $2,300, but as all OLEDs have fallen in price in recent years, this set usually goes for around $1,800. It delivers top-notch picture quality and a satisfying HDR experience, just shy of the very best sets we've tested.

TCL 75-Inch 6 Series 4K Smart TV
This 75-inch 4K UHD smart TV from TCL, a Roku TV model in TCL's step-up 6-series sets, is the bigger sibling to the TCL 65R615 model that was among the best big-screen bargains we saw in 2019. We didn't test this model, but assume it will deliver the great overall picture quality, plus an effective HDR performance, we saw in the 65-inch set. Note these TVs are Best Buy exclusives; they're pretty much the same as the R617 sets sold elsewhere, but come with a basic Roku remote rather than the voice-enabled one.

Jabra Wireless Headphones
This sports-oriented model has a "true wireless" design, which means the earpieces are totally untethered. The headphones deliver high-quality audio and come with a few convenient features, such as the ability to use the earphones with just the right-hand earpiece, and a quick-charge function that will boost your battery for an extra 1.5 hours after only 15 minutes, according to Jabra. The advertised battery life of up to 5 hours falls in the midrange for true wireless models.

JBL Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones
A small marvel at this price, these over-ear headphones deliver impressive noise cancellation and audio quality. JBL hasn’t skimped on features, either. The Live 650BTNC comes with a detachable audio cable for use with wired devices, a quick-charge function, the ability to simultaneously pair with multiple devices, and a generous 20-hour battery life, according to JBL. A free app adds some additional functionality.

Linksys Wireless Mesh Router
Ideal for large houses, Linksys' Velop AC6600 three-unit mesh router system is selling for $40 less than usual at these two retailers. It offers automatic firmware updates (good for digital security) and easy setup via smartphone app, plus admirable WiFi signal relay at a full range of distances, according to our testers.

Dyson Ball Animal 2 Upright Vacuum
You can find this capable vacuum marked down at many retailers, including Best Buy. The 17-pound Dyson Ball Animal 2 earns impressive scores for carpet cleaning. It aces our bare-floor and pet-hair tests, too. Emissions are clean, so this vacuum won’t spew debris back into the room (although emptying the bin can stir up some dust). It comes with attachments that help you get into tight spaces.
