Comment:
Used this humidifier for a 200 square foot bedroom. The noise is unbearable at the lowest setting, and not just any noise, but an extremely irritating rattle. It's very poorly made. The reviews on other sites echo the sentiment here.

Consumer Reports is getting it wrong WAY too often lately. Up your game or get out of the business.

Comment:
Really disappointed in this CR recommendation. We have white residue everywhere in our room. In addition, the humidistat is terribly coarse. This machine doesn't know when to turn on or off. Highly disappointed with this purchase. Wish I could have my previous humidifier back q:(
