Comment:
We have owned this for about 3 years. Yes you do have to push on the dispenser lever a little extra hard and because of that reason the plastic piece that was attached did break just recently - the good news, it still worked if you knew just where to push; but because it was a little difficult to explain how to make it work to guests my husband ordered the new part for $8. The other minor complaint is that it is hard to see how much coffee still remains in the unit. Other than that it functions just fine, has held up great for the price, and looks just like it did when we purchased it.
How long have you owned it:
More than six months
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Comment:
Just purchased it today Oct.27th 2013 taking it back tomorrow, the brew cycle stops to often have to push it quite often to get a pot of coffee, other than that it could be a decent coffee maker, the coffee could be a little hotter.

A month or less
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
