Comment:
In 45 years of owning ovens, this is hands down the worst ever! Just had 4th service call. When nothing is in oven, temperature is as set. Just don't add food! One customer service rep told me to just take out all the racks before baking and just bake one thing at a time! Do people cook this way? Is the Whirlpool quality so bad that a 70 degree temperature variation is OK? I'm frankly tired of food that is burnt on the outside and raw in the middle. Ruined my holiday!

Comment:
Convection fan does not turn off which affects baking a cake or loaf. The cooling fan shoots hot air down from the door, heating the cabinets below and the flooring too. This cooling fan is noisy.<br />I am disappointed with the Consumer Report ratings. I purchased based on these ratings and hope others read the reviews before making the same mistake I did.

WOS51EC7AW Never worked right!

Cons
Poor Temp Control

Getting Frustrated
Comment:
We bought the WOS51EC7AW single wall oven. Temperature was a random variable from the start. Not repeatable, usually high (but not always), out of range of calibration. By the time we had incontrovertible evidence of the problem it was just out of warranty. Whirlpool was not helpful. Cost to repair? Who knows...it's hard to find a knowledgeable repair guy...so there's yet another random variable...oh well!
How long have you owned it:

Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
