Comment:
I used Consumer Reports to pick the Whirlpool oven. CR rated it very highly.

I am so disappointed. It is very noisy and the noise is constant when cooking and for a good while after as it cools down. I would never have picked this oven if I had known about the noise issue.

Comment:
The oven is not convection but the fan is on constantly. It is so noisy, it is distracting. The oven is VERY slow to preheat and the noisy fan makes this not a good choice. Had the builder not put it in, I would not have chosen this model.
How long have you owned it:
One-to-three months
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Comment:
The oven makes constant noise. There is a very loud fan that you cannot control! It is on all the time. Even after you turn the oven off. I guess it decides when it has cooled off enough. It runs the entire time it is cooking and then for a very long time after it finishes. This is not A convection oven. It is a simple plain old oven that makes a ton of noise. I HATE THIS OVEN!
How long have you owned it:
More than six months
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
