Pros
Quiet
Quiet Easy To Load
Cons
Doesn't Dry Well
Long Cycle
Best Uses
General Purpose
Comment:
Used daily to wash all dishes, pots and pans, silver ware, etc. While it does wash thoroughly, having to hand dry each item is a real negative. I would not recommend this product. I replaced a Kitchen Aid with this Bosch, and wish I had the Kitchen Aid again

Works well if you wash your dishes first

Pros
Quietly Inefficient
Cons
Doesn't Clean Thoroughly
Best Uses
Comment:
Doesn't clean well. Way too many dishes that were not particularly dirty and were relatively recently used just not getting clean.
The lack of a food digester at the bottom and maybe the micro-screen filter are the culprits but, unless I've already cleaned the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher, many are not thoroughly cleaned, and doesn't that negate the need for a dishwasher?
The Kenmores I installed for my father and myself worked much better at a much lower cost.
I'll give the Bosch big points for quiet operation.
Don't think I'd spend the money again.

Comment:
We had this for 13 months and it washes well and is very quiet. Unfortunately, the labels on the capacitive controls are starting to rub off and it makes unit look cheap. Eventhough it's a month out of warranty the Bosch rep and the store manager at ABT electronics are replacing the controls at no cost. We only use a soft sponge with dish soap to clean all our appliances.
