Comment:
We just got this unit. The main problem with it is the lack of heated drying. CR doesn't make this clear, nor does the company website, especially when they mention cycles like sani-dry which just uses hotter water. When we open it after a full cycle the door is always wet and I feel like I should leave the door open a crack to let the insides dry out. Also - the rack takes a little getting used to. The filter doesn't seem to be a problem at all - hardly ever gets anything in there. It is very quiet, but it's not silent. Still we have an open kitchen and can easily watch TV while it's running. Also, the 30 minute quick cycle seems to do a great job. Overall it's a good machine, just wish it had heated drying. Given the lack of heated drying, it seems to dry pretty well all things considered.

I've spent probably too much time deciding which dishwasher to pick to replace my KitchenAid that just stopped working.
I've decided on Bosch and picked this model because it looked good, had a third tray and I got a good deal on it.
I actually like pretty much everything about it. Starting with the installation...I like that they moved the connection points (water and electrical) outside the dishwasher cavity. They even provided an electrical box to be installed under the sink, so when something goes wrong you don't need to pull the dishwasher and I think it is also safer (no exposed wired under the unit).
The dishwasher runs very quietly. There might be some quieter models, but at this point it is down to mine is quieter than yours type of bragging thing. At no point anybody would be bothered by the noise (most of the time there is no noise at all), and in few moments in the cycle where you can hear it (barely)it will not interfere with anything you are doing. (including sleep).
Most importantly it cleans the dishes perfectly. Every single thing I put in the dishwasher (including some bowls with dried food stuck to it) came out super clean. Every single one. I don't think there is any improvement in this area than can be made.
There are really no minuses...maybe the drying is not 100% perfect on the plastic dishes (but I am not sure if there is a dishwasher that can do it). The racks could be made little more sturdy and the door seems to be little fragile (I prefer more heavy feel). That's all I can think of.
If you are looking for a dishwasher, spend little extra (if you can) for this or similar model. Any negative reviews about it must be ether due to bad installation, or unreasonable expectations (yes the dishwasher makes some sound sometimes, it is not perfectly silent).

I was so excited to get this dishwasher. It looks great and I loved that it had a second sprayer. I was also excited about the third rack at the top. This dishwasher promised to be my favorite appliance.

I am so disappointed! While it is VERY quiet, all other features have disappointed me so far. It looks beautiful but doesn't really clean my dishes. Prior to choosing this dishwasher, I looked at the videos online and read several website reviews. I think I may have gotten a different product than everyone else. I have many issues with this product and would NOT recommend this dishwasher.

The online video as well as several experts has said NOT to pre-rinse all the dishes. Well, when I don't, I have to run the dishwasher twice and sometimes even scrub the dishes by hand. I'm not talking about leaving large chunks of food or big globs of ketchup on there. Usually it's just a few crumb s and scraps.

The front panel controls don't work well and aren't aligned properly so the button is not centered under the printing. A slight annoyance compared to the rest.

The third rack is ABSOLUTELY USELESS. Nothing ever gets clean up there.

The middle rack with the extra sprayer has to be pushed in just right in order for the sprayer to work. When in a rush (and I always seem to be in a rush) that doesn't always happen.

One the bottom rack has some weight added it comes off the tracks making it impossible to push in. Yes, this is the rack where most people put their dishes and pans so there is bound to be some weight on it. I've had this come off the track rattling my dishes almost as often as I use it. When you get the rack really full, it's very difficult to get the rack back on track without taking out the dishes.

Finally, my dishes don't get dry! Why would I want an almost $1,000 dishwasher and still have to towel dry my dishes?

I contacted Bosch about the bottom rack coming off the track and they told me it was because the dishwasher wasn't leveled properly at install. Well, I guess I'll have to live with that because there is no way I'm dealing with this retailer again.

This is not Bosch's fault, however, this product was purchased by my home warrantee insurance company from Sears. I've never had such a terrible customer service experience in my entire life. Apparently Sears can't figure out how to do what the rest of the industry is doing. I had to schedule the delivery of the dishwasher for a day without any time frame given for delivery. Not until after 6pm the night before do they call you with a delivery time window. They don't call you with options, just a take-it-or-leave-it window of time. If that doesn't work for you then you have to schedule another day in the future and again wait until 6pm the night before. Here's the kicker. They only deliver the item. THEY DON'T INSTALL IT that day. Now you have to schedule the installer and go through this process all over again.

After two days at home, the installers didn't showed up. After many angry phone calls, including one to the Sears Corporate office, I was able to schedule installation on a day and time that worked for me. Apparently, this alternate installer doesn't really do dishwashers.

Now I am stuck with a dishwasher that doesn't work well and I don't have a reliable retailer to fix the issue for me.
