Comment:
Bought this based on CR recommendation. Install was simple enough (it's a dishwasher - supply, drain, power, done). Loading is awkward, who really has a matching set of anything (especially with kids)? Needless to say, dishes come out clean everytime. We do use the tablets and rinse aid, so that may help. When we first started using this, about 10 months ago, the inside unit smelled something fierce. So much so, I was about to return it. Tried sanitizing cycle with no dishes, let air dry with door open, nothing ... it just reeked! Then, after returning home from a weekend trip, the smell was gone. Unexplainable, the stench was gone. With it now gone, the only issue I have is the smaller compartment and awkward loading. Good luck in any and all of your future appliance purchases as humans still design it so nothing is perfect.

Comment:
Our Bosch was recommended to us as the best by a store employee. It has never cleaned well. I never gets the dishes dry. The racks are designed poorly and are awkward to load. A wheel on the upper rack broke off through normal use. Then, it stopped draining because the pump went bad. Bad experience... will go with a different brand this time.

I replaced a 10 year old unit when it broke the 3rd time. Because the kitchen is in the Great room we want a quiet unit. the old one couldn't be heard. This one is noisy (I bought a meter: 60+ dBA v Ad 48dBA) Bosch doesn't consider that an issue. The technician said it cleans and dries that is all he can fix. We are very unjappy and are getting no help.
