Comment:
As a single person, I use this for almost all of my baking needs. I've had this oven for more than 4 years, and 4 moves; it still works perfectly. Excellent for baking brownies, fish, chicken, potatoes, heating frozen dinners, etc. The automatic shut-off feature ensures you don't have to worry about overcooking or burning--if you've set the time and temperature correctly. I highly recommend this oven.

Comment:
Purchased this oven and just before the warranty expired it died. Breville was responsive and we returned the oven, after finding a box and packing material. Well, the replacement just died and the warranty is up.

Would be a great toaster oven if it lasted, but yours will die soon too...just pray you are under warranty. Keep the box and the receipt.

Comment:
Two adults used this machine daily, but just for toasting, baking potatoes, things like that...no casseroles or heavy use.
A little over a year later (coincidentally, the expiration of the warranty period,) the bloody thing died.
It's a non-functioning controller, which likely has a repair cost as much as replacement of the whole oven.
Our next purchase is for a junky, cheap toaster oven.
At least we won't feel ripped-off after the thing dies right after the too-brief warranty period.
Most expensive and junkiest toaster oven we ever bought.
Never again.
Paid over $160 at Williams-Sonoma when it was on sale; shame on them for selling such a poor product.
