Features & Specs - Frigidaire Professional 4-Slice Wide Slots FPTT04D7MS
Touchpad Has electronic touchpad controls.
One slot A long slot that holds two pieces of bread side-by-side.
Bagel setting Provides the option to toast on just one side, such as the cut side of a bagel.
Exterior material Some toasters housing are all plastic, some are all metal or a combination of the two. Typical metal surfaces are chrome and stainless steel.
The bagel/English muffing setting is supposed to toast the cut side more than the top/bottom, but that feature does not deliver as promised. We consistently have to crank the toaster at its highest setting to get our breads and bagels to brown, and that takes more than 5 minutes! I would not buy this toaster again.
How long have you owned it:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Performance Matches CR's Rating
Lots of Room
Slow Cycle Times
CR's rating matches our experience. This is our first toaster which toasts both sides of a slice evenly. It is also consistent when toasting multiple batches of bread. Two minor negatives: toasting cycles are on the lengthy side compared to other toasters we have owned; and the unit's control pad has painted labels which wear off by finger pressure alone.
