This toaster was a wedding gift and finally gave out after continuous use after FIVE years. It worked great. Both my husband and I basically used it on a daily basis for five years. The blue digital screen acts as a nice kitchen nightlight. Great toaster, looking to purchase another one just like it.

NICE LOOKING TOASTER.
Received this toaster in late December 2012.
In March 2013 in order to get it to work we had to: 1) unplug toaster
2) remove cleaning tray.
3) Shake toaster
4) plug it in.
5) insert bread.
then it would toast the bread very nicely.
REPEAT THIS PROCESS EVERYTIME I WANTED TO USE IT.
Called Hamilton Beach. They were willing to replace toaster as long as I paid the freight $9.00+. I Declined their offer. Why should the I have to pay for their mistake?
