iCandy Cherry

Approximate retail price:
$400
Summary:

In December 2012, CR judged this model a Don't Buy - Safety Risk, because an unharnessed child could slip out beneath the bumper (or "grab") bar and be seriously injured or killed.  iCandy's spokesperson informed us at that time that no more Cherry strollers would be shipped to the US.  In March 2013, the iCandy Cherry was recalled by CPSC due to this strangulation hazard. CPSC recommended that owners of the stroller immediately remove the bumper bar from the stroller and contact iCandy America Inc. at 877-484-4179 to receive a free replacement bar.  Consumers can continue to use the stroller without the original bar, while awaiting the replacement bumper bar.
