Very frustrating product. Drops constantly due to interference with other signals. Controllers need constant resetting. Signals can't can't be found. Not good if you live in a metro area like NYC. Constant issues- if you buy this product expect this. Customer service reps are good but the problem is out of there hands. I would suggest looking at good wireless speakers you can play from your computer.

Comment:
This was my 10th or so Sonos item. I also own two play 1's and multiple powered zone players like the connect amp or the Zp120 etc before that as well as bridges and un-amped units like the ZP80. I started with Sonos I believe back in 2006. It's an awesome system and easy to use, set-up and maintain. They've got a forum to answer questions or get ideas. I love the ability to easily add Pandora or other services, control the volume, channel, zone, etc. from my iOS device (iPhone or iPad or desktop/laptop or sonos controller). I'm currently hoarding American Express points with my eye on the sub and speaker bar. I love the fact that you can easily add a subwoofer to the outlet on the back of the unit for extra bass. This is by far one of the best toys I have ever purchased. If you're a music lover you need to get a Sonos.

Comment:
I move it from room to room and use network attached storage (hard drive to Apple Airport Extreme). With a network drive, no computers have to be on (or even involved). I control it from an iPhone.
It has a really great sound that is truly suprising given the size. If you were to pick one up, you can tell by the weight that there is something going on here.
The support is very good ( I had some problems setting up the network drive).
I wish that i could use Bluetooth or a RCA cable to connect to it, but I guess that is what the Play5 is for.
