Comment:
The toliet is a great value, I read several reviews and determined most of the complaints were due to improper installation. Many reviews mention the wax rings was not very thinck so I purchased and installed an extra whick wax ring. The installation went smooth no leaks or surprises. After a months use use with 5-7 people in the house at any given time it works fantastically.
Highly Recommended

4 Reasons not to buy this toilet

Comment:
Installed 3 of these in a new house based on CR's recommendation. There are three reasons I recommend you not buy this toilet, and many of them are things CR's ratings wouldn't account for:

1. Inconsistent manufacturing - one of the toilets has a dripping sound that a plumber said has something to do with water in the front of the bowl. Another doesn't flush as well as the other two.

2. Counter-intuitive flush button - press the small button for a small flush and both buttons depress, making you think you actually are doing a big flush. Press the large one for a big flush and only that one button goes down. I had to look it up in the manul to make sure I was flushing correctly. You'll have to explain it to guests.

3. As others have pointed out and I never thought about, you lose the top of your toilet space thanks to the flush button location. Can't put your tissue box there!

4. It just doesn't flush that well in the real world. Regardless of the controlled lab experiments CR does, I don't think they replicate real life.
