This is the first time that Consumer Reports gave me bad advise. This was highly rated (an 80 in May 2012. Well, for about a month, it was pretty good. Then one little thing after another rusting out, not working, drip tray perforating with rust, collapsing burner assembly, even the $40 matching cover crumbled within the first year. The thermometer that came with it was the first thing to fail. I bought a new temperature gauge (about $20) from Sears Parts Online, it worked for ONE (1), yes ONE grilling. Lastest thing was that due to the burner brackets rusting away, the entire burner assembly dropped onto the drip tray and that collapsed the paper thin drip tray. In short, this grill is just a piece of junk, truly disappointed, and I'm sorry to those who commented back in 2012 on the C.R. site and tried to warn me not to buy it, I trusted Consumer Reports (actually, I still do) they just let me down this time. Not sure what I will replace the grill with, but I'll be a little, no, a lot, more careful this time.

Not hot enough
Best Uses
This grill doesn't seem to give off enough heat. Cooking times are roughly double what they were on my old grill. Plan 15 to 20 minutes for medium to medium well burgers.
