The Worx WG307 is part of the chain saw
test program at Consumer Reports. In our lab tests, chain saw
models like the WG307 are rated on multiple criteria, such as those listed below.
How fast a saw cut through a 10-inch-square oak beam.
Consists of kickback intensity, the potential for burn due to inadvertent contact with the muffler, and storage safety--how well protected the cutting chain is from accidental contact during storage.
Ease of use:
Based on engine-starting convenience (the average number of pulls to start), primer and choke location and operation, and the ease of adjusting the cutting chain’s tightness, checking and adding fluids, and accessing the air filter and spark plug.

I bought this tool to help manage some Waxleaf Ligustrums that I was cutting down from my backyard. My Craftsman chainsaw was a little too big and unwieldy to cut the smaller branches down, so I thought this would do the trick. It definitely made chomping through medium sized branches easier and simplified breaking up the trees for disposal. My only complaint is that the self tightening chain track doesn't tighten very well. The chain jumped off the track 4 times in a 3 hour period. The oil reservoir is also not very big, so you'll have to fill it several times in a day.
