Toyota Camry Overview
After just three years into its current generation, Toyota reskins America's most popular car, trying to inject more excitement. Interior appointments have been upgraded and center dashboard controls simplified. Changes to the handling claim to make the Camry more fun to drive, while still retaining ride comfort, and more noise insulation should help quell road noise. The three impressive powertrain choices are the base 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine; a 3.5-liter V6; and the Hybrid, which gets an amazing 38 mpg overall. The four-cylinder returned an excellent 27 mpg overall in our tests. The V6 version is very quick and delivers 26 mpg overall.
