Volvo S60 Overview

The redesigned S60 sedan offers agile handling, a taut and steady ride, and a suite of advanced safety systems. A smooth and refined turbo four-cylinder mated to an eight speed automatic replaced the gruff five-cylinder for 2015, bringing respectable performance and fuel economy. Front- and all-wheel drive are available. The interior is quiet, well finished, and nicely laid out, and the front seats are very comfortable. But the rear remains tight, and the trunk is small. Safety features include City Safety, which can automatically brake the car to prevent a collision, as well as an optional sensor system that intervenes to avoid hitting a pedestrian. A wagon version, the V60, is also available.

A subscription to ConsumerReports.org includes Consumer Reports road test reports (based on over 50 different tests).
