For over 20 years, Chris has played a key role in Consumer Reports’ testing program. He currently oversees the evaluation and ratings development for outdoor power equipment—including lawn mowers, leaf blowers, snow blowers, and pressure washers—backed by extensive experience testing mattresses, pillows, luggage, air conditioners, and space heaters. Throughout his tenure, Chris has engineered custom small- and large-scale test equipment, collaborated with manufacturers across diverse industries to refine their prototypes, and driven industry-wide testing improvements. He also plays an active role in mentoring and training new testing staff.

Experience and Education

Chris’ background spans product development, technical support, and product marketing across the consumer products, pneumatics, industrial, and medical device industries. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan University and a BA in Marketing from Assumption University.
