Work At CR

Lauren joined CR in 2016 and now leads the health and food content team. She has been a science journalist for more than 15 years. At CR, she edits articles on a wide variety of topics, including infectious disease, food safety, aging, and environmental health. She also oversees CR's coverage of health-related products such as insect repellents, exercise equipment, hearing aids, blood pressure monitors, and bike helmets.

Experience and Education

Lauren began her journalism career as a local reporter in Philadelphia. Before joining CR, she was an editor at Psychology Today and at Business Insider. Her writing has also appeared in Scientific American and other publications. Lauren has a B.A. from Bryn Mawr College and an M.A. from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY, where she teaches health journalism.
