Margot has been a senior-level editor at Consumer Reports for over a decade and is presently Associate Director of the Special Projects team as well as the magazine’s money editor. She’s been involved in diverse CR content, from prize-winning investigations into unsafe baby products to explanatory stories aimed to help consumers navigate the confusing digital financial marketplace.
Experience and Education
Before assuming her current role, Margot was editor in chief of Consumer Reports Money Adviser. Before that, she was the executive editor at Prevention magazine and deputy editor at Ladies’ Home Journal. A graduate of Hamilton College, she has also worked as an editor and writer at a host of other national publications.
