    To find the best cooktop cleaner for your glass and ceramic cooktops, we put six to the test in our labs using baked-on marinara sauce, maple syrup, and pasta water. While every product we tested eventually worked, some required less elbow grease than others. Starchy water stains were the easiest to clean and required almost no effort with any of the products.
