Detailed Test Results

With the exception of edge cleaning, the Bissell ICONpet is impressive. The unit is squared off in shape, which is a plus for corner cleaning, but it doesn't have any side brushes or edge cleaning features to help get into the nooks and crannies. It left a lot of debris near the edges and in the corners. Its powerful suction turned out one of the best embedded dust pickup performances of the tested models. It even sounds strong and heavy. True to its name, it sucked up pet hair successfully and most of the hair made it to the bin instead of sticking to the brushroll which is a feat most robot vacuums do not accomplish. It easily traveled over electrical cords with some slack and decreased its suction to avoid getting tangled on rug fringe. One caveat: Testers had to remove 3 screws to access the brushroll, which is a cumbersome process. It traveled over a square of matte black carpet in the lab. Features: Cleaning Modes: Low, Mid, Max suction. Auto, Spot modes. Scrolling LED display communicates robot's status. App: BISSELL Connect version 2.102.0 Battery: Li-ion Includes: power adapter, charging dock. Warranty: 2 year limited.
