This quiet Deebot 711 robot vac used a grid pattern to excel at cleaning and navigating our bare floors. It wasn't as successful cleaning carpets and pet hair. Its suction wasn't very strong when picking up embedded fine powder in the carpet. It was gentle with the test furniture and either stopped or slowed down before it bumped into an obstacle - a sign that its anti-collision sensors and bumper were working. The 2 side brushes were helpful in removing debris from our edges but they scattered debris. The vacuum exhaust helped clear edges almost completely. It dragged the pet hair around but eventually picked most of it up. Hair was stuck in the wheels and side brushes but was easy to remove. Hair was wound around the brushroll after testing but was easy to remove. It avoided getting caught in our rug tassels and power cords. It easily maneuvered over a .75 inch threshold and navigated over dark carpet in the lab. Features: Modes: Auto, Edge, Spot.
