When I heard that Eufy, a vacuum brand we’ve tested in our labs before, was releasing a new 3-in-1 vacuum, I was excited to spend some time trying it out at home. I’ve owned robotic, stick, and handheld vacuums before, but never a device that could work as all three. Consumer Reports buys all of the products we test in our labs, but because this device hadn’t been available for purchase yet, the company lent us a model to test-drive.

    More on Vacuums

The Eufy E20 works as a 3-in-1 vacuum because the battery and dustbin can be removed in one piece from the robot’s body. Once removed from the robotic vacuum, there are three attachments that turn the vacuum into a stick or handheld vacuum.

I gave my upright and robotic vacuums a break and used just the multitasking Eufy 3-in-1 E20 in my apartment for a week. Here’s how it went.

As a robotic vacuum, the Eufy E20 maneuvered under my couch and other furniture.
