    This Rheem water heater requires 120 volt service, making a good choice for replacing gas-fired water heater installations that may lack available 240 volt service. It lacks electric-resistance heating elements, so it always operates in heat-pump mode, so the faster recovery available in hybrid mode with the other models is not possible. It comes with a pre-installed mixing valve.
