Baby Brezza has recalled 29,000 units of a baby bottle sterilizer after reports that it can overheat during use and cause a burn hazard. No injuries have resulted from use of the Baby Brezza SuperFast Sterilizer Dryer, but the company has received 32 reports of overheating when the unit is plugged in, including some in which the plastic casing has melted.

The countertop appliance is used to sterilize and dry baby bottles, breast pump parts, and accessories in 10 minutes. The product was sold from January 2024 to October 2026 for between $160 and $180 at babybrezza.com, babylist.com, and target.com, and at TJ Maxx and Marshalls stores across the country.

More on Baby Safety

Owners should stop using the recalled Baby Brezza bottle sterilizer immediately, the Consumer Product Safety Commission says, and dispose of the product properly, as outlined below.

Baby Brezza is offering consumers a free replacement sterilizer dryer, the Baby Brezza SuperQuick 10 Minute Sterilizer Dryer, which the company says is “an upgraded model” that offers “more features and benefits.” There’s no refund available at this time.
