We expect the 2025 Allroad will be more reliable than the average new car. This prediction is based on data from 2023 model and the Audi brand score.
The Reliability score is based on our latest subscriber survey of 2017 Audi Allroad owners. The owner comments describe problems respondents experienced with this vehicle.
Muffler, pipes, catalytic converter, exhaust manifold, heat shields, leaks.
Engine rebuild or replacement, cylinder head, head gasket, turbocharger or supercharger, timing chain or belt.
"Turbo started to operate intermittently with a dash light indicating a malfunction. Over the course of several months it happened more and more often. Finally had it replaced. I was told that it was a problem with the wastegate."
Anonymous, NC (2017 Audi Allroad Premium Plus 2.0-L 4 Cyl turbo)Driveshaft or axle, CV joint, differential, transfer case, four-wheel-drive/all-wheel-drive components, driveline vibration, electrical failure, traction control, electronic stability control.
"Rumbling sound when turning at low speed. Thumping when transmission shifts in lower gears. Feels as if something is binding. Still in the process of being diagnosed."
Anonymous, NC (2017 Audi Allroad Premium Plus 2.0-L 4 Cyl turbo)Squeaks, rattles, wind noises, seals and/or weather stripping, air and water leaks.
"The left rear sunroof drain does not work properly even though it has been cleaned by the dealer and an independent mechanic twice. It drains slowly. The dealer gave me a cost of $1437.00 on 9/12/23 to replace the drain tube. I have not done it. I now always park the car so that the left rear of the car is not lower than the rest of the car and now longer have any water leakage."

"All 4 doors have keyless lock and unlock feature by touching the door handle. Touch the face and it locks, and touch the back of the handle and the door unlocks. From the time the car was new, the driver's worked intermittently during wet or rainy conditions. This is the first car that I have had with this feature. I thought it was normal, but realized after the warranty was over that it was not. About 6 months ago, the drivers door completely stopped working. All the other doors work correctly and since I have the system set to open unlock all doors when one is unlocked, I just use the touch feature on the left passenger door, which is often more convenient, especially if I'm putting something in the back seat before getting in the car."

"One power window actuator failed and needs to be replaced. Car was also in the shop for a few days due to oil pressure warning light. Eventually discovered rats had chewed through wires"
