    Audi TT Road Test

    Introduction

Derived from the humble Volkswagen Golf, the TT might not be a designed-from-scratch sports car, but it does have its strong points as a two-seat convertible. Handling is very nimble with impressive limits. The four-cylinder turbo engine and quick-shifting automated manual transmission return good power and a decent 25 mpg overall. Interior quality is impeccable, especially with our car's optional S-line package. The TT is also one of the few convertibles available with all-wheel-drive, a unique distinction for those who live where it snows. But the ride can be stiff and the fabric roof lets lots of noise in and blocks outward visibility. Heated seats were made standard for 2015.
