"It has good handling for an SUV. The transmission is very smooth and I barely notice it changing gears. The acceleration is not that great. My previous car had less horsepower and torque but had quicker acceleration. Also, the car is very quiet except when accelerating at which point it gets loud."

"The X5 has driving safety features which help my husband drive safely, stay in the lines, monitor speed etc. he has mild cognitive impairment. The head up display for navigation is so helpful. Note he is also part of a driving study sponsored by the neurology dept at a local hospital. He doesn’t care about it, but I feel safer knowing an objective observer is monitoring his driving."
