Few vehicles can equal the imposing declaration of Brobdingnagian bling that marks the arrival of a Cadillac Escalade. From its jewel-like headlights to the giant chrome wheels and roof-to-bumper LED taillights, the Escalade is designed to tell the hoi polloi you've made it -- and they haven't. But while it's easy to understand the Escalade's snob appeal elite, this SUV's luxury is disappointingly skin deep.

Overall Owner Satisfaction

Consumer Reports’ Annual Owner Satisfaction Survey can improve the chances of finding a compatible car match. How? Our survey data reveals whether, all things considered, owners would buy the same car again. The answer to that question is what determines our owner-satisfaction rating, which is a powerful piece of intel because it predicts how well a particular model will satisfy other owners.

MARTHA M., TX (2015 Cadillac Escalade)

Includes seats, climate control, noise, and ride

What Owners Say

"The seats in the New Escalade just aren't as comfortable as the pre-2015 seats. These aren't wide enough in the shoulder area and feel like they are pushing you forward a bit. The fact that the headrest isn't adjustable is annoying. Would expect more at this price point."

Randy A., TX (2015 Cadillac Escalade)

"The older models had a much smoother ride, this one definitely feels like you are riding in a truck."

Anonymous, VA (2015 Cadillac Escalade)

"While our escalade has had serious transmission issues with it finally being replaced after ~30 days in the shop, there is nothing else like it on the road. Styling is best in class and the rear captains seats make these GM products unique. If Mercedes offered the GLS550 with rear captains seats we would trade the same day it hit the dealerships."

Chris P., TN (2015 Cadillac Escalade)

"The Front seats are very uncomfortable. Not luxury seating"

KEN K., CA (2015 Cadillac Escalade)

"Ac seats function well, where others either freeze you or don't cool."

MARTHA M., TX (2015 Cadillac Escalade)

"Comfort of seats, climate control after a repair and ride are very good. The seat settings, requirement to hold the driver number until all settings are in place and inability to be key fob oriented settings like our 2009 Corvette is extremely disappointing & annoying."

SAMUEL N., NV (2015 Cadillac Escalade)

"Air conditioner compressor totally failed and had to be replaced. 16000 miles"

Anonymous, GA (2015 Cadillac Escalade)
