The dealer wanted $115 to look at it and up to $1500 to replace if that is what they determined was needed. I found one online for $100 and with the help of youtube was able to replace it myself. Found that the small ribbon cable had evidently dried out and was broken halfway into. That explained why it would light up but did nothing else and remaind frzen on the one display."

We are able to listen to one radio station only. We cannot access the GPS, climate control, Pandora, Phone, etc."

We replaced the screen at the dealer and the new one works, but it does not work perfectly: the touch sense is mis-aligned slightly, overly sensitive, and the interface between screen and processor is slow, so when selecting an item, it oftentimes has a time-lag between touching the screen and the selection highlighting, and then the highlighted selection is oftentimes the wrong one. This is distracting to driving and ineffective in using the device."

The CUE screen looks like a spider web and is unresponsive to any touch commands. It is just frozen on the last screen it was on and you can not use any functionality of the car that is tied to the screen and CUE system. Cadillac is aware of this issue and they will not fix the problem. They want to charge customers $1500 to replace the entire console."

The GPS, audio system, climate control and weather are completely non-operating and will cost $5,000 to replace. This is a known issue but Cadillac/GM won't do anything about it."

In 2020 the screen started freezing again and kind of shaking, taking super long to transition between screens and then just finally not transitioning. When the screen goes down on things you are unable to do much. It controls the temperature, the defrosters, the radio, the bluetooth, etc. The car drives but it's not the same experience. It's like driving with the AC stuck on or off and on AM instead of FM, stuff like that. It's like driving an old Honda."

We ordered a new screen on line and had our mechanic to replace it. The dealership wanted 1300.00 to replace it, we paid 200.00 on line and our mechanic charged us 200.00 to install the new unit."

The dealerships want somewhere from 12 to $1500 to replace the entertainment system. After several months of research I was able to find this screen to replace myself that only cost a $137. Now it's working just fine and I couldn't be happier except for the potential cost that I would have had to pay a dealer for."

We ordered a new screen and had it installed at a audio repair shop. The dealer would charge 1000 to 1300 dollars the audio shop charged us 300 dollars. After replacement the screen worked fine."

Also driver's side rear view mirror is discolored and dealer wants over $500 to replace it. I understand the roblem with the infotainment system is widespread."
