Vehicles recalled: 2022-2023 Lexus LX and 2022-2023 Toyota Tundra
The problem: Debris during manufacturing may not have been properly cleaned from the engine during assembly, risking performance problems. The concern is that with some engines, debris may interfere with the operation of the crankshaft main bearings and cause the bearings to fail. This could result in engine knocking, running rough, stalling, or not starting.
The fix: Lexus and Toyota dealerships will replace the engine, at no charge.
