"The 350 (5.3L) runs great even though it has over 160,000 miles, the Z71 package is well worth the money. I had to spend a little money on some suspension, wear and tear, but no trouble with engine, tranny, or rear end. I also have 22 inch tires on it. I had to get catalytic converters two years ago, but stuff wears out. Transmission never fails."

"This is my second 2002 Avalanche, they are made on the same platform as a Cadillac Escalade, handles well, all leather, interior roomy, low noise, it is great for a truck. I would've bought a newer one, but used truck prices are crazy high as dealerships buy up private party vehicles to keep used prices artificially high. I know, I have a brother in law that perused ads for Toyota."
