    Chevrolet Blazer EV

    Latest Model

    2024 Model Redesign Year
The Blazer EV shares its EV platform with the Cadillac Lyriq. The AWD version we tested managed a respectable 275 miles in our 70-mph highway-range test; rear-drive versions are EPA-estimated at 344 miles. It has an 11.5-kilowatt onboard charger that facilitates relatively quick home charging (about 10 hours on 240 volts). But its 150-kW DC fast charger acceptance rate isn't anything special. The Blazer EV delivers its power in a smooth and linear way, but the ride is rather stiff and handling isn't particularly agile. We like that it has conventional door handles and a rear wiper.
The large infotainment screen integrates Google products such as maps and voice assistant, but Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are unavailable. For 2025 RWD and AWD models get an increase in range and horsepower and a front-wheel-drive version is new.

    2024-Present

    2024 Model Redesign Year
The Blazer EV is based on GM's Ultium platform that underpins the latest automaker's electric models. This midsized SUV meets the competition, notably the Ford Mustang Mach-E, VW ID.4 and the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6 pair in terms of price, functionality, and range. It is offered in several trims, initially starting with the all-wheel drive LT and RS trims with an estimated 279-mile range. The premium SS is also available. The cockpit is fitted with two large screens: An 11-inch instrument panel display and a 17.7-inch infotainment screen. Features and services can be personalized, and upgraded, using GM's Ultifi software.
The Blazer EV comes with FCW, AEB with pedestrian detection, LKA, LDW, and ACC. Super Cruise and other active safety and driver assist features are optional. For 2025, highway speed AEB is standard. Both RWD and AWD models get a slight increase in range and horsepower over the previous model year. A front-wheel-drive version is new.
