Pony car aficionados will easily identify the not-so-secret recipe for the Chevrolet Camaro. Piles of go-power and cornering grip are packed into a rear-drive, two-door sports coupe with racy styling providing as much appeal as the power. While the V6-powered Camaro is no slouch, the 6.2-liter V8 in the SS sounds the way a muscle car should.

Overall Owner Satisfaction

Consumer Reports’ Annual Owner Satisfaction Survey can improve the chances of finding a compatible car match. How? Our survey data reveals whether, all things considered, owners would buy the same car again. The answer to that question is what determines our owner-satisfaction rating, which is a powerful piece of intel because it predicts how well a particular model will satisfy other owners.

Driving Experience

What Owners Say

"Acceleration is very satisfying and put a grin on your face. Exhaust note is very pleasing. I had a tune performed and made a world of difference in how the car performs. Also had FE4 suspension installed which keeps the car more planted and fun to drive."

GARY A., TX (2011 Chevrolet Camaro)

"I expected this to have a better torque and acceleration. When you step on the gas, it starts screaming but the acceleration is slow, unless you are in very high RPM. I like better my VW 2.0T in that respect."

"Awesom drive and very quiet. I wear hearing aids and the drive is quiet and I can talk to passengers very well!"
